Well done today lads - gave us a lesson in every department. Hopefully this pushes our shite manager out of the door.

Striker Benajmin Kallman - 20 year old Fin apparently signing today.
source seems to be a Finnish news article which refers to his form as being similar to "denim in the fashion industry"
Already signed according to wikipedia

Totally agree with this and, it seems weird with 0/6 points but I really think this team is improved on last season.
Just wish McCann could find a striker who looks half as talented as Hendry, Kamara, Kharl, Elton, Nabi et al.Yes definitely not worried after seeing that today. We have a good team just short of a goalscorer which is the hardest thing to find.

If we bring Caulker back in for Meekings. Kamara back in our midfield . Sign a decent striker (or two). Then we will be very comfortable this season. MIght even push for top six.

Good on him. Hope he does well but I’m quite happy with Madianga and Elton instead.
Yes hope he does well. And agree Madianga and Elton look like good signings.

Mark O'Hara scored 2 for Peterborough today

I was having a debate with my mate at the game about that. Legitimately, what would Caulker not have brought to the team that Moussa did? Literally any of our CH's would have been a better option than Moussa.
He would have least caused the Aberdeen defence problems in the air all day. Moussa literally offered nothing today.

We should have played Caulker up front instead of Moussa today. And I am not even fucking joking!

There's nothing wrong with wanting scottish teams to do well in Europe. As an Ayr Fan, I'm not going to see them in Europe anytime soon :-)
Just wishing all scottish teams in Europe good luck.
Only a matter time mate seeing as in another thread you said Ayr are currently the 3rd strongest team in Scotland.

Has there ever been such a pointless, meaningless team as Dundee?
Talk about stuck in a rut!
Only hope in life is being slightly less dug meat than the job lot along the street.
Cup run? X
League win? X
Europe? X
Top six? X
Farmfoods reduced out of date cheap imported dugmeat.
Dees are at least 5 (five) times bigger than Ayr in every aspect. Major trophies (have you won any?), fans, finances.
Just to give you diddies a little bit of perspective - you have beaten the mighty Dees ONCE in 23 YEARS. Let that sink in. But we are meaningless

Even when we were utter dugmeat and taking skelpings off of teams like Stranraer we were getting more than 500 fans through the door.
Well done though for being utterly wrong in your last two posts on here. Great work!No worries buddy. I got my point across

It's a bit of a self fulfilling prophecy that one, if he was "proven" at SPL level or above, then he wouldn't be available to the likes of Dundee for £200k etc.
Quite amusing though that SPL clubs are willing to take a "gamble" on the likes of a French 2nd or 3rd tier player but not on a Scottish League 1 or Championship player.
Caulker was available to us and has played for Spurs, Liverpool and England! Anyway on the French 2nd tier remark - we would never pay a fee for them. That's why paying a fee for a player from a part time team would be a huge gamble.

Then I can only conclude that you've not seen him play recently.
Barring serious injury he'll be scoring goals regularly in the top league (or down south) in the next couple of years.Never seen him play to be honest

He’s clearly doing something right if he’s attracted so much attention from other clubs.I agree. I am sure the boy is too good for Ayr but I am not convinced he is good enough for the top flight. Not the worth the gamble for us anyway. If we were to spend money I would hope it would be for a proven striker at a higher level.

He wasn’t exactly spoilt for choice back then. The way he’s playing now he could get a better move than Dundee. He has done nothing yet mate. Anyone can score goals in the wee leagues. He has failed with the big boys before.

Even if some of them did, I’m hopeful he’d see that he can do better than shite like Dundee.
He signed for Ayr. I doubt he has very high standards to be fair!

Not much of a hands off warning from Ayr. I am starting to think this deal might be likely. Hopefully not though - unless it's something less £40k
