  1. Got Our Joey at 8/1 today which was a nice turn of luck. Got Volcanic Jack 14/1 and Tartan Snow 12/1 at Wolverhampton and Kelso coming up
  2. Doubled my money on Vulcanite in the 1.10 @ Hereford earlier
  3. Paddy Power are 11/4 for a Sprinter Sacre/Sir Des Champs double. That's some price
  4. I had Rey Nacarado, Call Me A Star, Salubtaire - or something like that, Bobs Worth and Countrywide Flame. The big two won but invested in Wolves tonight. Steeley Grace, Golden Flower and Humungusaur
  5. Duke of Monmouth @ 12s and The Knoxs @ 3s
  6. Got singles on Finian's Rainbow, Silviniaco Conti and Toubab with a Finian's rainbow/ Oscar Whisky double
  7. I managed to get Captain Conan at 11/10 last night and I'm doubling up with Fascino Rustico.
  8. Mr Mole turned over at Wincanton as 2/7 favourite. I do apologize JP McManus for jinxing your horse
  9. Updated my list of horses to watch for the jumps over the winter: Bold Optimist, Call Me A Star, Captain Conan, Cheltenian, Comeonginger, Dark Lover, Fascino Rustico, Mr Mole & Spartan Angel. The ones that i'm most interested in are Bold Optimist, Captain Conan and Mr Mole. The first of the three was a top bumper horse who suffered an injury that ruined his season and possibly cost him the title of top bumper horse that went to Champagne Fever. Captain Conan showed flashes of class last season but Barry Gerraghty seems very confident that this season will be much better. According to him, Conan was 'babyish' and that he looks much stronger this time around. Mr Mole is extremely unusual as it's JP McManus owned yet Paul Nicholls is the trainer . Has to be worth following! Would anyone else like to add to my list? Would be good to get a P&B jumps watch on the go and share some success from November to March
  10. Had individual bets on St Nicholas Abbey,Excelebration and Game On Dude. First one already shat on. Two to go!
  11. Disgustingly poor from all three. One last throw of the dice on Dancing Art at Uttoxeter. By far the best form and doesn't mind slow ground.
  12. Got three i've eyed up for tomorrow. 1.40 Newmarket - Pearl Sea - looked a decent prospect, running well on several occasions only to be beaten by the likes of Roshdu Queen and Certify. 2.05 Down Royal - Miley Shah - Hammered the well thought of Trifolium last time and should give Monksland plenty to think about at the prices. 2.40 Down Royal - Yes Way Hosay - 5th at Cheltenham in March and only narrowly denied at Gowran Park. Only has one half-decent rival to beat.
  13. Basseterre will decide if im up or down for today. Mixed bag so far
  14. Got some I've identified for tomorrow. Need to wait for prices; 1.10 Stratford - Whisky Yankee 1.30 Hereford - Vasco Du Ronceray 2.30 Hereford - Ikorodu Road 2.50 Lingfield - Sentaril 5.10 Kempton - Sky Garden 7.10 Kempton - Basseterre
  15. Mr Goodenough was as his name says. Ravensbury was travelling well in 3rd but something was amiss after a jump and Gerraghty pulled him up
  16. Gone for Mr Goodenough and Ravensbury at Punchestown. Both are proven on soft - testing ground with the former having a major rival withdrawn from the race. Ravensbury is making its hurdling debut but the price seems to account for that
  17. Hopefully get one or two more winners before Saturday to pile on Excelebration
  18. Got a tip from a friend about Urbu Dirlande that runs in half an hour at Taunton. Looking on the racing post, it has won a sole point to point which is weak on paper but it was enough for Paul Nicholls to take it into his yard. 9/4 second favourite to a Phillip Hobbs' debutant.
  19. Its more to the point that it has shown a better level of form than the others in the field and a repeat should have been enough to see it win.
  20. Didn't expect that earlier Cracking Lass picked up the win with Model Pupil back in third.
  21. I fully expect Model Pupil to deliver at even money. Showed itself in a good light before taking a break and this is easier than its last run
  22. A guy came into the bookies tonight for a certain horse that was due to run at Wolverhampton. It was called Ensnare which has no positive form to speak of (00000) yet went from 14s to 9/2 before being ruled out as a non-runner. Very peculiar stuff
  23. Got small stakes on Flashbang (4.30 Lingfield) and Daniel Thomas (5.30 Lingfield) both of whom are 10/1 Gone heavier on Rocky Creek 11/10 (4.40 Exeter) but don't know whether to put money on a forecast with Gullinbursti
  24. Excelebration and Dodging Bullets done the business in emphatic style. A bit of each-way money on Primaeval and a single bet on Cucumber Run at Cheltenham
  25. Got my bets sorted for tomorrow. More to come if the earlier ones are successful. 2.55 Ascot - Great Heavens 11/4 3.05 Cheltenham - Dodging Bullets 10/11 3.30 Ascot - Excelebration 10/11 4.45 Ascot - Jack Dexter 5/1
