  1. Anyone who wanted to own and operate the club would approach it whether it was or wasn't formally on the market. It's all well and good calling for the entirety of the board to be binned but the simple fact is we'd need folk to fill those positions and it's been clear for a long time that there is virtually nobody - connected to the club or otherwise - with the requisite interest and/or competencies to do so.

  2. Scougall at right back with Taggart at centre back and that trio of centre backs on the bench is a serious war crime. Ross Lyon actually did alright as a centre-back at times despite being utterly done for the opener, so fair play. Would not want to be continuing that experiment against better teams though. We really need a big man up top if we're going to turn these hard fought draws into wins

ETA: the penalty definitely looked in to me on first viewing and it's hard to argue against that from the replay. Summative of the piss-weak tinpot refereeing at this level that there was some doubt over it for a good 10 seconds, though

  3. A team that's brave on the ball vs one that's quite the opposite. Need to see the goal again but on the face of it that was comedy officiating, only bettered by the indirect free kick at the end of the half there. Think we're about the only team I've ever seen just try to shell it into the net rather than open up a space in the wall first with a dummy or such.

  4. It's hard to pillory Duffy too badly given the hand he was dealt by Lennon's squad building, but that was abject fare from a Clyde POV. At the risk of upsetting select Dumbarton fans even more, tonight was - although I doubt one was really required - probably the most glaring demonstration of just how far we are off that joyous Clyde team of a few years ago. So much dross all over the park, and a win tonight would've been crucial in earning some funds to allow a bit of re-jigging in January. Definitely an improvement after the break and the subs, but there's not much worth looking into at all given Dumbarton were sitting on the advantage - if they'd bothered, they likely would've been out of sight before that consolation goal. The third just about summed it all up.

Rather pleasing. At least Clyde fans can sleep easy knowing their promotion winning team who finished 2nd in League 2 in 2019 would pump us.

That's quite the meltdown pal, fair play. Thoroughly deserved win for Dumbarton tonight, absolutely no complaints. A team without many fallibilities and it's not difficult to see why it's coasting a fairly weak League 2.

    Eh?

This Dumbarton side would take a handsome riding off the team which got us promoted in 2019. Nothing against Dumbarton, who've done well here, but a brutal assessment of just how far we've gone backwards since then.

Craig sold himself for the 3rd. It’s still a worrying position.

No doubt, but I'd wager that Craig will come on defensively under Duffy and he was up against a tough opponent in Morrison, not helped by Cameron who is shocking defensively. We're obviously going to be limited in what we can do in terms of recruitment and I'd be prioritising right-back and up front ahead of left-back.

  8. If we bring that every week between now and the end of the season, we'll have a fighting chance. P. Grant and Allan brilliant, and huge efforts all across the pitch. Craig is quietly developing into a reasonably steady option at LB, so we just need to sort the glaring issue on the right as a priority now. Scullion is a trier but so guff out there and should've done far better with the one on the line. Cunningham's injury looks quite bad and I'd be surprised if he wasn't out for at least a few months, just have to hope for a bad sprain. Extremely light up top at the moment.

The more pertinent question seems to be, why are the copa libertores or however its spelled still in packs.
How did you know he was the world champ? Fair play on giving him a good game though.

I can't find confirmation of the guy's PSN, but the club name was "FalconMsdossary", with the latter part being a name I recognised as one of the top dogs. Team looked very much the kind that a pro would be using as well (Cantona, Zidane, Mbappe, Toure, Jairzinho, Lucio etc). Searched to see if he was streaming but he wasn't, on YouTube though he uploaded clips from last week's champs in which the club name and badge were the same, and the same squad was on show. Either the real deal or just someone who's a pretender but also exceptionally good at the game 😅

  10. Played the reigning world champion on this tonight when I was 13/14-0 and only lost 4-2, bottled a chip or I'd have taken the lead at one stage. Actually competed very well with him in the main despite the massive team disparity, but I'm sure he could've lifted it if he wanted to. Some of the broken lobbed through balls he was playing with Zidane were borderline undefendable, though. Went on to secure Rank 1 which gave me shocking rewards - why on earth are the garbage limited-time WC items in tradeable reward packs?

  11. Don't really have much to grumble about with this, any recruitment he undertakes surely won't be any worse than Lennon/Moore's and nobody in their right mind would want to touch us right now with a relegation all-but nailed on to their CV as a result. If anyone could stink us through a play-off, it is probably him. With that said, it is a questionable move on Duffy's part. If I had a dodgy ticker then I would avoid such a soft-centred, goal-gifting team at all costs.
