So are tickets only "offered" for the competing nations games ? I don't want Scotland tickets as have them but was hoping to pick up more tickets for "down" days but this suggests that won't be possible.

I was in Portugal when Germany played Gibraltar there. You just bought tickets outside the ground although tech has moved on a bit.

I would wish you well today, but…….To be fair I would say the Fermers away support last couple of seasons is much improved. It will be more than Livi and RC would bring combined(well more I'd guess).
