  1. Well I have been to the gym everyday (Except Saturday & Sunday) for the last four weeks. I feel I could be a contender again. Chis, if you're reading this 0131 55... I will not be hard to deal with.
  2. There is more chance of me starting up front for Queens next week, than there is Livi being relegated. Changing the teams in each league three days before the leagues started would be madness.
  3. A few loan players on top of what you have will see you through no problem.
  4. Yeah, but I take it you will still be able to bring players in? By all accounts Livi were not too bad last week at Palmerston.
  5. I agree with your first point but disagree with your second. Without a points deduction I think you will stay up. I think the bond between your players will be stronger having gone through what they have.
  6. Well, as was already pointed out (I thought it was you that pointed it out, I could be wrong)adding something like 50 points would be like giving somebody 1000 years for murder - pointless, no pun intended. No, ten points could be easily recouped by Livi. Twenty points would not be so easy to claw back and of course it would send out a message that the SFL will take tough action if teams go into administration. Again I can't see Livi complaining too much about that.
  7. HibeeJibee, why do you think a ten point penalty would be enough? Surely that's fine for the first occasion, but for the second, another ten should be added on? In my opinion that would be fair and I'm sure the Livi supporters would not argue too much with that either.
  8. Why just the 10 points HibeeJibee? I would have thought going into administration for a second time should incurr at least 20 points. That would be fair in my opinion.
  9. I see what what you're saying SDA, however if it was a 10 point deduction then that could easily be made up. There is no danger Livi will be relegated at three days notice in my opinion. The papers were also reporting a few weeks back the new guys would only take over if they continued in the 1st.
  10. I would be more than surprised if they were relegated now. In fact, in the Scotsman, they reckon they would get away without even a points deduction. I can't see that though.
  11. I have just revealed £100 x2 and £10000 x1 on the scratchcard I was doing.
  12. That just makes me angry. Imagine my embarrassment, when I discretley popped in through the side entrance to World of Leather, dressed in my gimp suit, only to discover several corner suites (Interest free credit available) and a somewhat shocked family of four. If I could have unzipped my mask, I would have let the store manager know of my ire.
  13. It seems like the advantage will be handed to Livi, which is clearly unfair to the rest of the clubs in the league. If they escape without a sufficiently large points deduction (30+), it will be a disgrace. I take it the clubs get to vote on this as well?
  14. Sir Calum Melville and Gordon Bennet will be kicking themselves. Livi Debt Free 2010
  15. I would not be surpised if clubs voted for the rule change to be honest. I'm sure there are a few that are struggling at the moment and if Livi can get away with it, I'm sure they will thinking it could be of a benefit to them in the future as well. There's no doubt Livi should have been relegated with a points penalty at the very least. However, I believe the knights in shining armour would only come in if they were in the 1st Division. The SFL soiled themselves and agreed to these demands. As I have said previously, I did not want to see Livi fold, but I did want to see a fitting punishment, sadly if there is any, it will be minimal. I backed the SFL previously, however it's now clear they are unable or unwilling to implement proper penalties for clubs in this position. The people in charge at the SFL should now resign or be forced out.
  16. Very well thanks, WJR. Are you still down in Basingstoke? If you're back up at the weekend, no doubt I will catch up with you in the Malt & Hops for a beer. Anyway, all these twists & turns at Livi have left me tired. I will away to bed and dream about the SFL's version of community service, to be handed down to Livi.
  17. Good point. Your punishment is much better. Also suspend any prize money until all creditors have been paid in full.
  18. I didn't want to see them fold but at the same time I did want to see a heavy penalty. Relegation to the 3rd with a 30 point penalty next season. Now if they stay in the 1st I would like to see a 50 point penalty imposed.
  19. Were you taking the minutes Southview? I feel as if I was there.
  20. In the crazy world of Livi, that is probabaly who they mean!
  21. I'm not long in either, thanks for clearing it up. However, what's is the vote going to be about? Is it changing the rules to something like the English version, and will all the clubs get a vote? I totally agree with you WTM. Change really is needed in Scottish football from top to bottom. There are too many blazers from the SPL, SFA to the SFL, interested only in themselves and not the good of the game as a whole in this country. We only need one association and badly need league reconstruction to include a pyramid system and promotion with at least two up and two down from all divisions. How difficult can that be to implement? If the incumbents feel they cannot achieve this, then they should stand aside and let those who can take over.
