  1. Well that was a fun night eh? I thought we played great through the whole playoffs and it was nice of them to concede the pen in the last min to add a little spice.

League one beckons and I can’t wait but let’s have a party first. We still have tickets for the POTY tonight, you can buy ahead or pay on the night, just give us a heads up through here or socials so we know for numbers

Somewhat embarrassing conduct prior to the match tonight when sons trust director was very rude in shouting at a fellow sons trust member and refusing to speak to her.

i don’t know what this was about but shouting in public was well out of order

@cedrick1 that was me and your right it wasn’t right and I am sorry for that. While it doesn’t excuse the shouting , I wasn’t saying I didn’t want to speak to her, it was the person she had on the phone. This public forum isn’t the place to go into the exact detail but I hold my hands up it shouldn’t have happened.

Do the club not have a more current Instagram page that posts updates fairly regularly/daily?

It does but similar to LinkedIn if you use the search you get the old and new page. LinkedIn access is now sorted and this is next on the list.

I think you can sometimes claim an account through instagram support in cases like this. Especially seeing as it is clearly an account for a football club and not a personal one. Might be worth a shot if you are desperate.

That was my last resort card. Was hopeful someone had logins/could reset a PW and we get in quickly. I have a lead so fingers crossed

I'm not 100% if he was the only one with access, but I think it was Donald Fullarton who ran that one. Certainly looking at the captions back, it reads like Donald too.

Ahh I wondered if that would be the case… fingers crossed someone else has access

I only read about it in the SonsTrust AGM minutes document, kindly sent out by DB over the weekend.

There has been plenty of discussion & ideas posted in this thread, but nothing confirmed by our Chairman/Board regarding a new playing surface, nothing on the official DFC website either, which has every news article available, going back to the beginning of this season.

It’s something we are still working on. There is a couple of different things that we need in place before we can move on it and will need a close season to get the work done.

As soon as there is more concrete information we will update 😊

That Stephen Grindlay performance away to Arbroath that day was one of the greatest I've ever witnessed.

He was heroic that day. One of the best performances I have seen in a Sons shirt.

  8. The Trust AGM is on tonight in Bar72 at the stadium.

lots to discuss so would be good to see as many folk along as possible.

All members should receive an email today with updated information and a link to a live stream in case you can’t make it.

If you're not a member and want to join, come along to tonight and sign up, it’s just £10 for the year.

I'd encourage everyone who can to attend the Trust AGM on April 22nd, noting that non-Trust supporters can attend on provision of joining on the night.  There is a plan in early progress and it would be the intention to discuss it in open session on that occasion.  I'm not going to attempt to cover it here.

I second this. It would love to see a full Bar72. A strong Supporters Trust can help shape the future of the club.

It would be good if we could get some answers regarding the new sponsor that has suddenly appeared on the tops. In the past we have allowed the owners to use our kits as free sponsorship without them ever paying up. It would’ve been nice to a least have a couple of sentences on the website when this new mysterious sponsor appeared for the big televised Rangers game to reassure supporters. The sponsor has remained, as has the radio silence from the chairman (lol) regarding details around who the sponsors even are and how long it’s for.

Noted will add to the list.

Thanks to the folk who came up and had a chat pregame yesterday. Good to hear people’s thoughts. I’ll be in the bar again before the game on Tuesday  night if anyone wants a chat.

Suspect you'll be getting heavy pressure on you not to post on P&B anymore, mate. For all MacKay/Cognitive's apologies about a lack of communication with the fans, I'm sure they'd absolutely hate you engaging with us, especially on here. I've no doubt that's what happened with Paul McPherson. Stay strong, the fans are all behind you.

I’m sure I’ll have a discussion on this in due course. There is the fine line between discussing commercially/ strategically sensitive information in a public forum which will need to be considered but IMO open communication is key, especially in my role as the Trust (fan) Director on the board.

  12. Folks,

I'll be in Bar72 from around 2pm onwards tomorrow and after the game for 30mins or so if anyone wants to catch up or chat through anything.

Been catching up with the wider Trust this week and hopefully the board/Owners officially in the coming weeks. Most of my knowledge is "fan based" vs "Director" but would be good to hear good/bad etc points from people.
