That Stephen Grindlay performance away to Arbroath that day was one of the greatest I've ever witnessed.
He was heroic that day. One of the best performances I have seen in a Sons shirt.

All members should receive an email today with updated information and a link to a live stream in case you can’t make it.

I definitely spotted a few Clyde fans in the stadium bar last time. It's insane that we wouldn't let away fans in.
Away fans are allowed in the bar no issue.

Great result today. All put in a good shift and the goals were all taken well. Lovely little dink at the end to make it 6

If I spotted you correctly in East Fife's highlights, that's an excellent looking beard.

I'd encourage everyone who can to attend the Trust AGM on April 22nd, noting that non-Trust supporters can attend on provision of joining on the night. There is a plan in early progress and it would be the intention to discuss it in open session on that occasion. I'm not going to attempt to cover it here.
I second this. It would love to see a full Bar72. A strong Supporters Trust can help shape the future of the club.

Perhaps @Sons Fan could convey to the chairman how unhappy the support are and could approach the chairman for either an update or a Q&A with supporters?
I hear you. Will come back to you on this point.

I’m going to be in the bar from around 2pm tomorrow if anyone wants to catch up or chat about anything. Still getting settled in as director but happy to talk over anything

It would be good if we could get some answers regarding the new sponsor that has suddenly appeared on the tops. In the past we have allowed the owners to use our kits as free sponsorship without them ever paying up. It would’ve been nice to a least have a couple of sentences on the website when this new mysterious sponsor appeared for the big televised Rangers game to reassure supporters. The sponsor has remained, as has the radio silence from the chairman (lol) regarding details around who the sponsors even are and how long it’s for.
Noted will add to the list.
Thanks to the folk who came up and had a chat pregame yesterday. Good to hear people’s thoughts. I’ll be in the bar again before the game on Tuesday night if anyone wants a chat.

Suspect you'll be getting heavy pressure on you not to post on P&B anymore, mate. For all MacKay/Cognitive's apologies about a lack of communication with the fans, I'm sure they'd absolutely hate you engaging with us, especially on here. I've no doubt that's what happened with Paul McPherson. Stay strong, the fans are all behind you.
I’m sure I’ll have a discussion on this in due course. There is the fine line between discussing commercially/ strategically sensitive information in a public forum which will need to be considered but IMO open communication is key, especially in my role as the Trust (fan) Director on the board.

I trust that in gratitude for all of our votes, you'll be putting a few quid behind the bar.
would that mean I’m buying votes….

Folks,
I'll be in Bar72 from around 2pm onwards tomorrow and after the game for 30mins or so if anyone wants to catch up or chat through anything.
Been catching up with the wider Trust this week and hopefully the board/Owners officially in the coming weeks. Most of my knowledge is "fan based" vs "Director" but would be good to hear good/bad etc points from people.5 -

I note you mention change is coming, and Simon Barrow has hinted that there are things going on in the background that cannot be revealed at this time. Whilst I fully appreciate the need for confidentiality, it would be nice to know if these things being talked about could regain us control of the club before any further damage (such as selling the car park for houses) is done?
My point on change coming is purely my personal opinion, no inside knowledge.

I think you've done very well there Jan.
If we had a tenner for every time there's been an apology for the lack of communications over the years we'd have been able to buy the club a verti-drain.
The quotes from Cognitive reminded me of the time Ian Wilson addressed a public meeting at the Rock BC wearing a Sons scarf. Serious football people don't behave like that, and sadly we haven't been owned by serious football for a long time.
The Trust has it's imperfections - the lack of a functioning website is one (we're on it folks) - but having a presence back in the DFC Boardroom is vitally important, in holding policies and actions to account.
And by that I don't just mean ownership matters; the whole reason for the club's existence is the football, and as a supporters representative body we will also seek to bring influence and opinions to bear. And that also applies to the club culture and public relations.
That meeting with Wilson still haunts me. God only know why he thought that approach would win him friends.
There is a lot to do and IMO change is on the horizon and we need to make sure it’s done correctly with the clubs long term security and the fans at the fore front of all decisions.
@the snudge I know from speaking to people already that this is something the trust want to fix ASAP. I suspect their will be comms on social media in the short term as that’s an area that can be moved quickly on but until then I am sure @O'Kelly Isley III, myself and others will try and keep everyone in the loop.

All the best to Cameron. You have a tough task mate.
Thank you. I might be quiet for a week or so while reading up on everything and speaking to all sides but the end goal has to be what's right for the club.

While it would have been nice to see the turn out higher, I think the quick turn around and the minimal voting options would be the main driver. In the future we will work to have more options and that should drive up the turn out.

That transfer is reminiscent of champ Man/Football Manager days when you wanted to cheat and get your club a load of money by going an English team and paying way over the odds

Fingers crossed for a result today.
Is that Robert Jones who used to play with us on the bench for Elgin?

That's the dream but afaik, the club aren't reliant on the owners as they put nothing in and don't contribute to the day to day running of the club.
I believe that to be the case as well but atm we seem to be just getting by. We now need to work towards building a solid structure and getting revenue coming in from different areas to support the playing front but also to improve other areas or have a little in reserve for a rainy day.

It’s something we are still working on. There is a couple of different things that we need in place before we can move on it and will need a close season to get the work done.
As soon as there is more concrete information we will update
