  1. People shouldn't speak out about genocide/occupation etc because it might upset a player? Some take this.
  2. I know @Hoose Ricehas made a rip roaring arse of himself (again) over this yesterday but people are really clutching at straws here over the Abada situation with takes like this. The majority of our fans base like a lot of the world do not agree with the IDF's actions of late, but it would be ridiculous to single out someone who just happens to come from the country who's government/army are carrying out these atrocities. Having said that I understand why Abada doesn't want to play for us at present but has stayed pretty quiet on the matter to probably avoid giving morons any further oxygen over it.
  3. I admire anyone trying this in Scotland as public transport is generally shit and quite expensive. I try and use my motor less where possible, have got myself an e-bike but tbh I rarely use it come October to March.
  4. I think the two are a fair bit different so I'm not sure why people are comparing them as if they are the same. Yang's is alot higher but is trying to control the ball therefore not a great a deal of force being used however due to how high his foot was up your always asking for trouble if anyone is around you. Olusanya's was quite low in comparison but is lunging to the ball with more his weight behind it and trying to strike it to score with his studs going flush with Harts face iirc. I'm not saying either are absolutely a red or yellow but in Yang's case I don't think VAR would have necessarily have needed to intervene if a red or yellow was dished out by the ref as I get the merits of both cards, Olusanya was a bit unlucky because of how low his foot was but at same time a player again would be in trouble if they were to make that challenge on a defender whose legs may have been in that position.
  5. We've had more Israeli players than any other club in Scotland you absolute roaster. ETA - possibly even Britain perhaps?
  6. He looked a right prospect but his best season was his first and has been out of form for various reasons past year would almost say. He also looked well off it at champions league level too. Genuinely felt for him of late for the position he was in and the pressure he would have got from his homeland playing for us so it's best for all he leaves really. Still got a decent enough return considering.
  7. That is quite a stat. United have been 'doon' several times in my lifetime but I just assumed it was more of a blip for them.
  8. I'm not disagreeing that Rodgers was at it a bit singling him out but TBF he specifically mentioned incompetence, twice, rather than suggesting bias, unlike the hilarious Collum stuff earlier on in the season. I think the 'not made any decision' is a bit nonsensical as they can massively influence the game hence just about every top level fan in the country going off their but about them, refs rarely go against their judgement. Also the 'narrative' about Beaton certainly isn't limited to Celtic fans but tbh as a ref I don't mind him, as VAR he's shite. Yeah that's basically where Rodgers argument falls down really, Hearts took advantage of calls in their favour, we simply did not. I was reading that out of an our past 10 penalties we have only scored 5.
  9. To be fair he says 'incompetence' about him twice after saying his name rather than insinuate bias. I think a fine at the very least might be incoming for Rodgers though after that interview. As for Beaton has generally been ok tbh ever since a very questionable derby performance years ago but I do think he is pretty terrible at being a VAR official. The sooner the SFA realise the skill set is different for that role rather than having some pishy rota for them the better.
  10. My experience of PnB and match threads would suggest there are few 'normal' people on here also. The place has plenty paranoid victims who have little self awareness. Rodgers knew what he was doing today in the interviews after but my frustration isn't with the refs it was our own performance.
  11. I thought it was quite even till the early red card but after that Hearts were absolutely in control. The pressing on every Celtic player was quite telling often you would see a Celtic player in possession with 2-3 players on him and no out ball option available, especially further up where the distance between the front 2/3 was terrible. We offered next to f**k all once we went down to 10 men and given how early that was Hearts deserved the win, Rodgers has gone for the ref in the interview and praised the players to an extent but I hope to f**k he's said different in the changing room.
  12. That hedge should really be in the museum at Hampden with a waxwork of Pedro.
  13. I've changed my mind yes but there is a habit on here of just about any penalty claim on here being a 'stonewaller' to the point now it's just ridiculous. I know there is obviously going to be bias but this is more akin to the blinkered shite you see on single club forums.
  14. I've seen it again now and get why it's a penalty but the replies of 'clear as day' and 'stonewaller' to my post made me decide to not engage any further.
  15. Yup, he also had the cheek to have a pop at both of 'us' when leaving in his final statement iirc with no self awareness whatsoever. That was the biggest realistic opportunity for change in Scottish football and he absolutely fucked it. In fact I'm inclined to agree with you now.
  16. It's not going to to happen, I quite like Aberdeen but Cormack is up your typical egotistical millionaire who thinks he knows everything so would be very funny if he was to take them down with all the cash he's spent. At present he's arguably a worse owner than Milne was which is saying something.
  17. Watching the highlights now Barron's strike is very aesthetically pleasing. For the penalty Devlin is a bit lazy running to the ball at the end there but cant help but feel it was more a tangle of legs rather than a foul? Only seen one angle however.
  18. Given we have generally toiled against teams who have sat in I hope you are right.
  19. McGregor was been uncharacteristically off it this season but the idea of him not being in the team gives me the fear for games like this. I would have said the same about Kyogo a month ago though.
  20. Can't see a match thread? I appreciate Hearts won the last encounter with relative ease but I think I we may have turned the corner performance in the past week with skelping Dundee and a decent second half against Motherwell before that.
  21. This is even more sinister although I'm not sure who on the left is. Looks like Penelope pitstop with a new racing regulation fireproof balaclava.
  22. That's a quality wee dog you have there. Collies are often waaaay to smart for their own good though. I had a collie cross as a kid and stayed near a farm and all it wanted to do was chase them and kill rabbits. It was a total escape artist to get to them to the point out back garden started to look like Auschwitz to keep him in.
  23. I know Hearts have sewn up third for a while now but have you seen the league table of late? Bizarre claims aside yesterday was thoroughly enjoyable, atmosphere was very decent when usually run of the mill midweek games can be very quiet. First half was Angeballesque with quick balls and fewer touches and middling passes. Despite his goal CCV looked fairly rusty so good for him to get minutes ahead of Tynecastle. Not sure why McGregor went off but he looks much happier with Iwata doing the dirtier stuff for him, something many have been wanting to see for a while now. Fair play to Yang he has looked pretty dogshit up untill past few games but seems to have developed a footballing brain now. Also good to see a young guy come on and with a very well taken goal.
