Not exactly professipnal contracts are they ? Every Whitehill player is on an Amateur contract... Clubs would 100% chance not getting in contact with the player so they think they'll forget about it or they'll be too embarrased to ask for the money (which happens to alot of people)

Jack Wright deal to Vale off

I think given the fact he was off work for a number of months and only receiving sick pay (which we all know is basically pennies), then when someone comes in offering more than double what you get at your current club after struggling for a few months financially then I guess your head can be turned. But the wee man just loves playing and like I said had chances before his injury to leave and also when he was injured a couple clubs were still seeing what his thoughts were for the season coming.

No loyalty Jack has had a number of chances to leave Whitehill before and decided to stay and he's now obviously decided now is the time to move... Is Vale the right move I don't think so but some times money talks as they were offering more than double what he got at Whitehill

Whitehill only had one keeper the other was on loan from Broxburn who I believe may be on his way to Mussy in the summer

Bit harsh the lad is only 20 year old. His shot-stopping is unbelivable, yes his reading of the game and commanding of a box can be improved but he's only 20 year old and that will all become better with experience, getting older and growing in confidence (which probably isn't at it's highest right now when you're at a team bottom of the league). You'll struggle to find someone who gives more commitment and is willing to learn more than Ross when he was the 20s goalie would train Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday play on the friday for the 20s and sit on the bench for the first team on a Saturday. He'll go onto bigger and better things than Whitehill and if thats at Kelty then the boy dereves it and I'm sure will reap the rewards and become a better goalkepper there.
