I'm pretty sure that the social attitude survey covers this and that Scotland is no more racist than the rest of the UK but that Glasgow was the most racist city.

India and Pakistan are the the most racist place on earth by far. Asia and Africa are also very racist, basically everywhere outside of the Western world is more racist than the West.

Billy Connelly has been a unionist for too long to even be considered, he's only recently changed his mind slightly cause the writing is on the wall.

Imagine we vote for independence, there is a big fanfare and event around the re-convening of the Parliament and then the Queen does a wee day-trip up to give us our independence and make our democratically elected MPs swear an oath of allegiance to her. That would not go down well at all. Independence campaign would very easily become a republican campaign.
Seize the Crown Estate and the Palace of Holyroodhouse as the residence for our President (maybe call it Toiseach like our Irish brother call their PM) - President should just spend all his time promoting Scotland and Scottish culture, invite all world leaders and billionaires round to get pished on Scotch whisky. dine on Scottish salmond, helicopter trips up to the Highlands. Watch the inward investment of USD and RMB roll in.
