  1. I wouldn't worry too much about it. IIRC, it was one of the more minor side quests and was over very quickly. I finished the Heart of Stone expansion earlier in the week. Well worth picking up. A similar feel to the Bloody Baron story, but not quite as emotionally engaging - although that might just be because I got distracted for a couple of weeks 2/3 of the way through. Shani is yet another interesting (and hot) female NPC. There's still no release date for the next, even bigger, expansion - Blood and Wine. Any time between April and June by the sounds of things. I've got my season pass so I eagerly await its arrival!
  2. Just watched that trailer again. Who is Melisandre kissing at 1:15? Looks more like Arya than anyone else
  3. I feel a bit bad for doing that now, tbh. I ruined what would have been a pretty good announcement... Still, it's really Macron's fault for putting it in the public domain in the first place.
  4. It's been pretty dull the last couple of weeks, but this week is going spectacularly so far. Hopefully Patrick manages to stop Vincent from killing Claudette. Vincent is many things, but I don't think he's a murderer. He's also by far the best character in it at the moment. Mick's entirely justified meltdown at his squabbling kids was also great fun.
  5. Surely from what I said about spoilers after it, it was obvious I knew who they were and I was just avoiding using their names? Everyone knows it's Stanley and Brenda.
  6. Haven't listened to yesterday's yet, but Richard Gordon and Tom English taking the piss out of Chick Young on Sunday for being so excited over the possibility of an Old Firm semi-final was glorious.
  7. Looks like it's CRC Evans for a while yet.http://www.fcbusiness.co.uk/news/article/newsitem=2683/title=ross+county+agree+five-year+sponsorship+extension+with+stanley+crc+evans+offshore+ It'd be nice if they could come up with a better logo than the one they changed it to this year.
  8. Quite pleased with this. It's nice having bespoke kits, but the JD Sports ones have been a mixed bag. Especially this year with the home top only being comfortable for people with tiny heads.
  9. I'm always suspicious when you see don't see a character actually die. Still not convinced the guy who got his head lopped off by a female warrior at the end of the last series is really dead (I've lost track of what we can and can't say without spoiler tags now...). But after a misdemeanour like this, hopefully McIntyre keeps him on the Ross County bench behind Woods and Irvine for a few more games as punishment.
  10. You're right, I'd forgotten about him. Whilst I warmed to Triss, Dandelion's accent never stopped being irritating.
  11. Headline - Gary Woods Article - Gary Woods Picture - Gary Woods Caption - Martin Woods
  12. I've not got a problem with Geralt's voice at all. The one that annoyed me at first was Triss. Her American accent seemed out of place in a medieval European setting. Her other assets helped me overcome my initial reaction, however.
  13. It was his son, I believe. I'm not too clued-up on the behind the scenes goings on at County in those days, but there's others on here who know more. I'm certainly led to believe he wasn't as hands-on as would have been expected. Whilst he won us the Challenge Cup on a glorious April afternoon in Perth, I wasn't disappointed at all that he wasn't kept on. I remember those games (was studying in Aberdeen at the time). That second half against Copenhagen was a joy to behold, and the Bayern match was incredible insomuch as it felt like a defeat after the game! (Lokomotiv) Moscow I'd somehow wiped from my memory until I found my match ticket years later tucked inside a book I'd never finished reading. I have absolutely no memory of the game, although I must've been there. Presumably I was on a fairly heavy session at the time! His comments about Lovell and alleged treatment of O'Leary show the quality of the man, IMO.
  14. Whilst he undoubtedly had some achievements at Aberdeen, I'd suggest that part of the subsequent decline at the club was down to his policies. How many youngsters broke in to the first team under his stewardship? He seemed to prioritise the here and now with no thought the future. I think that lack of forward planning became evident after he left the club and everything went to shit. I thought he came across as a complete buffoon on the radio last night. He claims to have no idea why no one has been willing to give him a job for the last two years but won't ask anyone why or get any feedback because he's "not going to beg for a job". What an idiot.
  15. Not the O'Leary/Calderwood thing? I was disappointed it wasn't raised. http://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/scotsol/homepage/sport/5005506/Dressing-rooms-turned-into-the-loneliest-places-in-the-world-for-me.html
  16. I went ahead and tried it this morning with my porridge. Mixed in some banana too. Surprisingly nice, although it lacked a bit of sweetness. I think if I try it again tomorrow with a bit of honey I'll be on to something pretty special.
  17. I think it's probably fair to use spoiler tags until after the 9pm showing in the UK. But regardless of that, I won't be venturing in to this thread at all until I've caught up.
  18. In which case, we'd better concentrate on winning a cup double!
  19. We'll qualify for Europe if a) we win the Scottish Cup or b) Celtic win the Scottish Cup and we finish fourth. We should definitely be aiming for fourth and I think we have the quality of squad to keep ahead of the chasing pack. With at least one of Rangers and Hibs getting promoted, competition will be even tougher next season so this could be our best chance for European football for some time. I'll be particularly gutted if we finish outside the top six. Despite being bottom this time last year, I'd view that as an underachievement with the squad and management team we have now. Also, I backed us to finish top six at 9-1 at the start of the season...
  20. Planting the seed for a Buster/Tracey affair storyline IMO.
  21. I'm intrigued by this. Whilst I enjoy both porridge and peanut butter, it sounds like an abomination. How would you describe the experience?
  22. It was a hugely inappropriate post about Adam Johnson.
  23. Star Wars thread for this sci-fi pish.
  24. I have porridge most mornings. Porridge oats, pinch of salt, half water, half milk. Often with raisins in it from the start of the cooking process (on the hob, of course), or with other fruit such as banana, blueberries or strawberries added in at the end. Usually mix in some honey or jam too. Breakfast of kings.
