Hopefully this will work out ok - Fort sound like they could do with something to boost their squad, and ICT should benefit from players getting some decent experience. Be interesting to see what happens...

I bet all the people who are paid monthly have not been paid for a number of weeks. Nothing to see here I reckon. Seriously though, Sevco fans must be worried - if the club is relying on an increase in ST to keep afloat, and they can't offer credit for people to but them, then they're kinda fucked...

Is there still Admin Liquidation stuff going on here? I actually got bored of this some time ago, and reading through this thread is tedious (1 post in 100 seems to be on topic) I wonder if anyone could answer the following; Are sevco / rangers / whatever still in financial shit? Is there any chance they will go tits up again? The big tax case is being appealed by HMRC? Is that right? Any timescales on this? Any other exciting stuff happening? Cheers

Can't be arsed going back and finding the poster, but someone was talking about Sevco running out of money pretty quick in Div 3 (due to the 1m a month upkeep of Ibrox plus wages etc) Doing a quick calculation if they have 18 home games x 50000 capacity x £12 a ticket, then that's about 10.8 million. Plus sponsors, plus cup games etc. I reckon that would see them safely through the season, especially if they punt the high earners that have stayed. Or am I missing something?

I know what you mean. I'm going back to inverness next season, but something still bugs me. I really hope that the spl clubs were unaware the buns were going to get entered back into div 1. If it turns out they were then I'm done. Not happy about the div 1 thing. Just as long as it's made clear that it's a new club. And everyone knows it.

Just listened to Doncaster's interview prior to todays meeting. He kept harping on about the damage to innocent clubs if newco are put in the 3rd division. Who negotiated exit clauses for sponsors if the 'old firm' were not in the league? It wasn't the clubs who are voting today. It's not them who is bringing about 'financial armageddon'.

They need to vote and we can all move on. Let the fuckwits in charge earn their money. If sponsors withdraw then they need to find new ones, with a contract based on sponsoring the SPL. Not SPL (depending on teams). We should be proud enough of the 'product' to be able to sell it on its own. Then it's up to the fans to put the money where the mouth is and back your team.
