  1. I know he was utter gash at United, but McCart and Donaldon for the most part have done very well against Mckay and Graham. Only Stewart seemed to be the one that gave them real problems due to his awkward frame and pace.
  2. All AEW need is to change one letter of the match and swap PAC for PCO.
  3. Surprised it's a two year deal but pleased with that. Edit: That spelling, jesus. Way to not be tinpot.
  4. Who's signing at midday? Donaldson? Ridgers? Doran? McGovern? Ikonomou? Mark Hateley?
  5. I can't believe that someone like Farage would need a safe space.
  6. I actually thought Tokely was a horrific signing at the time but he was brought it to be a no frills right back for the first half of our first season in the top flight and did better than expected. He was a very short term signing which probably just about paid off until we could get someone better in.
  7. Highlights over the last couple of days: Batman Ninja Completely and utterly bonkers animation about Gorilla Grodd sending Batman and some allies back to feudal Japan where his enemies have taken the place of notable regional warlords. Joker as Nobunaga Oda was a highlight. The animation is mostly cheap CGI guff but there's a segment with Joker/Harley/Red Hood towards the end that's drawn in a tradiotional Japanese watercolour style that's absolutely incredible and I would be frothing at the mouth over this if the whole film was like this. 6/10 Tremors Find me a better 90's B-movie. I dare you. 9/10 The Hallow Interesting take on zombification horror with the antagonist being a combination of a fungus and Irish folk legends. Feels like something that Spanish language Del Toro would have done in terms of aesthetic and atmosphere. However, it suffers from having two pretty awful leads who you generally have no sympathy for. Still worth a watch. 7/10
  8. Amazed Clarke has gone for this. Best choice out of all the candidates. Watch us make a late run and miss out on goal difference in true Scottish style.
  9. I think Roy doesn't want to go down the previous Owen Coyle route of throwing crazy money at utter guff like Eagles, N'Gog and McEveley types who did heehaw for us.
  10. Is Chalmers 6'2"? He didn't look like it from watching the derby games.
  11. Caley heads on Twitter are in meltdown, so I'm now okay with this signing.
  12. I'm seriously unsure as to what Chalmers offers- is Kelly away and he's in as cover for Kenny?
  13. When he wasn't made of paper mache in his third season, 100% agreed.
  14. Martin Woods is a total fanny, would probably run up from behind Sked and try and boot him one.
  15. Pretty sure Caley signed White on a two year deal. I don't rate him as a footballer in terms of skill, but he's a big wrecking machine when on form and a decent weapon in the Championship.
  16. There's nothing like waking up still half cut on Saturday morning, rolling out of my bed onto my computer and watching it via the BBC iplayer. the chat about football stickers made me remember when I was one sticker short of completing the album in 1994/1995 season. Sent of to Panini for the one I just couldn't get (Tosh McKinlay) only to get Peter Grant instead. I never completed the book and to this day I've never forgiven them.
  17. Would say there isn't a huge amount in a lot of things between Watson and Grivosti, but Watson's ability to make an incredible number of blocks edges him ahead of Grivosti. He saved us numerous times last season being in the right place at the right time.
  18. Ridgers was utter gash last season. He's nothing like that now, a perfectly decent second tier keeper.
  19. I thought Sevco were interested in him- no chance of us getting near him if that's the case, much as I liked what I saw of him.
  20. Fox's main strength is his shot stopping. Only keeper I can think of at County that topped him for that was Big Mick, who is still the best keeper I've seen at County by some distance. Pity we've no chance of ever getting him back.
  21. You may be right on that. At least the defenders know that Fox is never coming for a ball that's outside the six yard box, so they know they have to deal with it.
