In the paper down here that Ryan Dow is meant to be returning to yourselves in January is he likely to get games for County now or just pick up his wage, showed a bit of class for us at times but only at times.

He's got a bit of creativity to him, which we've lacked at times but I get the impression the gaffers don't fancy him as much as JMac's daughter did.

When I watched the highlights of Tiffoney running at the ICT defence from Morton's left flank before scoring, I immediately thought of Gardyne carrying off that kind of dribble.

Does Stewart deserve to be dropped though, after scoring last weekend?  I'd put Gardyne back in.  Stewart still has a lot to learn about what positions he should be taking up, but he is still a nuisance.

I agree with @StoneThrowAway re Polworth, the last derby was the first time I saw him in the flesh since his red card in that 4-0 rout a couple of seasons ago.  I thought he was a level above his team-mates.  A transformed player from before.

I'm not sure. I have a lot of time for Stewart who's doing his best out wide without having a scooby of what he's supposed to do, but I'm not convinced we have the personnel to go for a straight forward two in midfield. Harsh on Stewart and he's a goal threat but Midge is the better all round player.

  3. I don't think we've played badly, but I think at times we're a very utilitarian side- a bit reminiscent of old St. Johnstone teams who'd come up the A9 and repeatedly do us 1-0 without ever playing great football while we huffed and puffed and caused them very little bother. We're winning games but there seems to be a focus issue after we score, as heads go and we're usually on the back foot (ayr at home, queens at home for two instances).

I can't complain  too much at the minute and I'm very happy with the output of Watson, Grivosti, Lindsay, Stelios, Mullin and Mckay but I feel we need more from DKD, Cowie and Fraser who all all seem to be playing within themselves. Short of confidence in DKD's case?

With Vigurs and Midge back too 100% in the new year (hopefully) the football should improve as they're our two most creative players, Mullin aside.

  4. Thought we'd beat Caley when we've played them twice this season and on both occasions Caley could have had shouts at winning and being the better side in both-I think we may go with the same side who beat Partick. It appears Vigurs wasn't booked for having a go at Beaton, so if he's fit, I assume he'll come on at some point.

So, halfway through the league campaign, top of the league at Christmas, 5 games unbeaten, it's been a pretty good season so far

Considering the injuries that we've had to contend with, I'm delighted with how Ketts and Fergie are doing with the team. Will be interesting to see what signings are made in January.

Mullin POTY so far by a mile. If we can keep him beyond this season (or even January), I'll be delighted.  Youth players breaking through, games getting won even when the team aren't playing well. It's pretty good to be a County fan right now.

Now, let's end the year on a high, win the derby with a Vigurs/McKay/Cowie hat trick.

I'd have Mullin as my POTY so far, by Stelios is slowly creeping up the ranks. Another good performance from him today. I think we're one central midfielder short *cough* Harry Paton *cough* but despite rarely hitting top gear much we're well placed. Can't complain too much at all.

  6. I don't know a single former Thistle fan who follows ICT- a few support clach, two go to County games out of spite towards ICT but the rest have just stopped going from what I can tell. There's far, far too many people in Inverness who'd rather go down the road every week to scream for either of the bigot brothers. The County supporters bus I sometimes get on that stops at Inshes is usually ten minutes or so after a minibus of Celtic fans go down the road.

  7. Cowie also  blowing after half time means that when teams go forward/break on us, we're effectively a player short as he is often twenty or third yards behind his man. Lindsay and Draper are having to work too hard which is hampering them massively. We really need to have Vigurs sitting in front of the back four with Draper and Lindsay in front- letting Paton go out on loan seems like an absolutely mental idea now, we're crying out for pace and inventiveness and if it isn't coming from Mullin or Vigurs nobody is providing it right now.

    I.D.(1995)

Probably one of my favorite British movies.

" Four policemen go undercover and infiltrate a gang of football hooligans hoping to root-out their leaders. "

    facking luv you Gumbo.

    SHADWELL 'TIL I DIE

    Dark Shadows

Probably one of Tim Burton's weakest films, but at least his films have a seriously nice visual look. The cast mostly appear to be enjoying themselves making this which is a plus. However. Chloe Grace Moretz is absolutely awful in every scene she's in. Her career since Kick Ass has mostly been pretty goddamn bad.

    5/10
