Not what I'm hearing at all - the reason people are taking the piss out of Rangers is because of the absurd and provocative statements which came from your board, and the equally blinkered insistence from a lot of fans that the Rangers fans who invaded the pitch were somehow acting in 'self defence'. The reality is, the deeply ingrained sectarian element in the culture of your club caused that reaction. You can't go singing about "defending the walls" against some imaginary horde of enemies which is out to get you, without priming the neanderthals in the crowd to react in precisely the way they did. I'm pretty sure all of the other supports in the land would have reacted to the hibs pitch invasion by calling them wankers and staying put - knowing it's their club which would suffer. Hibs made an accurate and suitably contrite statement, your club talked a load of old shite and actively praised thuggery and bell-endery of the worst kind. Rangers deserve an equal punishment, and I hope it is forthcoming. GIRUY

Phoenix Suns owner Sarver made a �20m bid to take control at Rangers The American banker tried to buy Rangers at the start of this year, but his £20m offer was rejected. He has since turned his attention to Valencia-based La Liga side Levante and his offer has been backed by The Levante Foundation - the shareholders group who run the club. The transfer thread on Rangers media makes pretty jaw-dropping reading. Suggestions so far include: Jonny Evans, Ikechi Anya, Vladimir Weiss and Nikica Jelavic - although they'll take Stevie May as a second-string striker. Also Josh Meekings, but I assume that one was just somebody having a laugh

It's hard to believe that they can do that now - they can't make a genuine fresh start with a jackal like King at the helm. Rangers may once have stood for such things as community spirit, work ethic and an honest desire to compete and prove their mettle, but now they stand for cheating, tax dodging and a greed for success with no care whatsoever for the consequences.

Amusingly, the Professor is 'wan o thame', according to the supersleuths on RM: Which must mean it's hunners more than 40 million. Off the radar and that.

Bloody rollercoaster game that one. I'm overjoyed for the team and all the highland youngsters who were there, it will will define how a lot of them feel about what is possible in the game. I dreamed the score the night before, but when I woke up I couldn't remember which team it was for, so it wasn't the handiest bit of second sight - until the last 7 minutes. ICT's makeshift defence meant the whole team was on a shoogly base, and Falkirk's goal was coming for a good 40 minutes - it was almost a relief when it went in, felt nearly certain they would make good and finish us off. The break for the winner was pure determination - Watkins burning every last bit of fuel he had left, and Vincent making damn sure it wasn't going to be for nothing. Sympathies for Falkirk, their fans were great - and their players took us to the limit. Might not have been the prettiest, but a great contest nonetheless.

Jump up and scream "You are a disgrace, Collum - that was never a f*ckin' penalty!" - That ought to cover it.

Interesting watching the pieces shift in the Birmingham City story currently unfolding. In their case, it is demonstratably the case that the 'club' is legally separate from the 'parent company', the extremely slippery entity below: BIRMINGHAM INTERNATIONAL HOLDINGS LIMITED 伯明翰環球控股有限公司 (Receivers Appointed) (Incorporated in the Cayman Islands with limited liability) It is certainly the case that 'old Rangers' did not have this structure - the club was incorporated, and later became a PLC. Many authorities have been paraded to pretend that this was not the case, mostly referring to each other rather than any points of law if they are asked to justify their logical acrobatics. These assertions do not alter the facts of the matter one jot.
