You don’t mean anyone has EVER been paid over the years ? Do you really think so and pray tell whom ?
Paying anyone to play at that level of football is silly .

Possibly financially motivated but credit to Saints for a strong turnaround in the second half of last season and look intent on building a strong team this season based on their recent signings so one would assume that has counted towards his decision too. McCulloch to Nithsdale certainly a surprise, especially since he's not signing from the Sunday League which looks to be where Nithsdale are doing their shopping right now. It's known that 'Dale have money to spend so maybe they're offering a decent signing on fee? Are the new signings from the Sunday League getting cash?
Any club paying cash to play in that league need to have a look at themselves .

I'd sooner contribute towards his wages providing he never returns to us.
If he was paid on ability , he would be paying the club .

Threave have apparently signed Ryan Coates from Lochar, Grant Learmont from Heston and Corey Thompson amongst other rumoured players. Poor quality players by all accounts compared to previous season signings.
Coates is like a drunk man on a motorbike .
Learmont isn't a bad player .
The other I've never heard of .

Threave rovers have signed Graham Wright today. Looks like Jake Gemmell’s replacement so the Saints move must be correct. Given what I’ve seen of the two, Gemmell is the superior goalkeeper with more potential but only time will tell.
Gemmell is miles in front of Wright .

Thought Doyle had signed a two year contract at Falkirk.
expect to see Doyle and Longridge at Queens next season if they have been released.
Longridge had talks with Queens last season .Would be good signing .

Was all for the Tanner fund when it was first mentioned!! but now i have real concerns on how this can work in Dumfries and Galloway.
Covid-19 will have a huge impact on the financial aspect within D&G, many companies are suffering big time which will impact on there employees, looking at the Standard its a crippling blow if Gates make redundancies and also change there shift patterns as many of these workers regular visit and spend there hard earned cash at Queens. For the next few years people will be having to cut there cloth accordingly
The next few months will see jobs cuts and redundancies .
Dumfries and Galloway is one, if not the , poorest paid areas in Scotland .
Giving away cash to many isn't an option .

Nice to see we slapped a 2m price tag on Dykes. Anyone know if Queens' got a tiny sell on fee or anything?
Not so tiny ,rather TIDY .

The only person that is likely to know this, also understandably won't answer. I'd hope so, but I suspect not. Pure speculation on my part, but I suspect getting Dykes back on loan from the January and then Jack Hamilton last season were the sweeteners in the deal.
Definitely a sell on clause .
Fact .
