I always had him in the Holloway, Docherty type fast talking football manager that when you actually think about what they've said, they are talking shite.
Spot on ,when they don't know the answer, try and crack a joke .

Strachan is irrelevant and and an odious man. It’s no wonder that Sky punted him last year. He will have no idea about what goes on in the lower leagues, likewise with the rest of the ‘pundits’ that are on that god awful Sportsound.
So what if clubs don’t have a huge fan base, that’s down to the hordes of ‘fans’ who would rather head to Glasgow than support their local club.Post of the year .

He needs to get a job back down South where he'll be happier.
That won't happen , he is limited .

We are talking about Oliver’s contract where he needs to play so many games to be given a new contract. It’s nothing to do with a contract which is not based on appearances.
These contracts are all in the clubs favour. Do I really need to explain again
You don't need to explain anything .

The player doesn’t hold all the aces at all.
If the player plays well enough he gets a new contract.
If the player is poor, gets injured, falls out with the manager then no deal as he won’t play enough games.
All in the clubs favour I would think.
The player decides if he signs the new contract ,not the club
Brownlie had a contract , do you think that was in the clubs favour ? .
He decided he wanted to go , all in the clubs favour

Oliver's seems a strange type of contract to me, fair enough signing for a year with the option of extending it to two years if both parties agree, but to base it on having to make a certain number of league starts/appearances very much skews it in the Club's favour. Also the possibility of injury could restrict appearances. It may be a common enough type of agreement though, others more informed will know.
Get where your coming from .
He signed the contract.
His agent will have agreed he should sign it .
Players hold all the aces , it's not unusual to have an appearance clause .

If we could afford to sign 2 of the following 4 out of contract ex-players, who would you go for?
Joe Thomson
Gav Reilly
Jamie McDonald
Ian McShane
Probably Thomson & Reilly for me.Thomson just getting over bad injury ,so plastic pitch is a no .
Gav Reilly too expensive .
Jamie McDonald would be great signing .
Ian McShane bone idol, and struts about like he is Zizou .

As I said part of my job is to promote the club and I will continue to do so. If you listen you will hear me speak very highly of other clubs particularly Auchinlech.
I have no interest in coming over well to you, the difference is I’m not negative or disrespectful to any club the very opposite actually.
I also don’t need to justify myself to you, I think some of the responses you receive on here say enough.

Unless we change the management position it really doesn't matter who we sign.
Spot on .
We were awful and if the season had finished normally,I have no doubt we would have been relegated .
He is clearly not capable ,his signings were in the most abysmal .

In the paper that Rangers want Dykes from Livi. would Queens get part of the fee if any deal was done.
There is only one man who can answer this and he is in charge .

There is more to come . with some serious allegations at meetings including ,
Biscuits not being shared at SPFL meetings, and even more serious "some folk getting first pick" .
Having to sit at meetings with people not wearing ties .
Other member clubs getting the best seats (some were "padded" ) .
Being stuck near the door .
Some folk texting .
Not getting a full hour lunch break (57 minutes) and "waiting for folk coming back " .
Toilet paper and toilets untidy .
and " other things " which are included in a 400 page dossier .

Dalbeattie are a far better team than Threave .Its a jump from SoS to East never mind LL .
A few additions ? 6-7 maybe .
To get to LL you would need to beat teams like Linlithgow ( who were 10th ) ,
Camelon Bo'ness Musselburgh Tranent Penicuick Broxburn
to name a few .
That's not happening
Some of the East conference teams are well in front of SoS never mind the Premier East

You honestly believe they’re any worse than Vale of a Leithen and with a few additions could easily match Dalbeattie Star for me ! Your problem is you appear to simply want to put the South down like this other clown Mallo
Threave or indeed any other SoS side won't get near the LL .

Only the winners would have received the place, and it was between Stranraer and Threave; both teams already receive a place in the SC.
The only potential negative to it is that Threave (IF they won the league) won't get the opportunity to contest any Play Off for the LL.Thank you . Threave nowhere near good enough for LL .
