  1. They called the league far too early, stupidly quick. As far as I'm aware didn't make people aware of the potential costs of doing so, had they of done maybe they would've waited longer and weighed the cost up against just playing the games.
  2. It's cost us the best part if £10m to end the league by having to repay the tv companies and give sky loads if free games.
  3. Laughable "sporting merit" is Partick being relegated despite not playing the same amount of games as everyone else? Or Hearts with 4 points behind and 24 to play for? Or Falkirk a point behind Airdrie 3? Sporting merit And make it a year later why? Just to ram it up Hearts? Pathetic. Anne Budge shouldn't be looking at reconstruction that's Doncasters job. This whole things a mess that teams being self serving and bitter has created and now Hearts are the ones "looking out for themselves". Look at what's happening elsewhere the relegations are being overturned in court, we should be trying to resolve it before it wastes everyone's time and money and goes there.
  4. And two good years from the Premier league. The Highland league is the fourth tier in the set up suggested. If the "no worse off" is being used to create hypothetical situations then you really are scraping the barrel. Cove would be in the third tier this year do no worse off this year. Partick would be worse off is that OK? Tbh I think we all know its not going through, once again it shows how pathetic Scottish football has become. I've not many fans who don't want a bigger league but out of spite just now they don't want one, "aye but if Cove have a shite season" if they have a shite season they go to the fourth tier regardless of the set up.
  5. Depends on the perspective, they have less competition to stop them getting to the second tier. I'm sure they'll miss the crowds from East fife and Dumbarton
  6. Cove would go into the third tier of Scottish football, same as they will without reconstruction so how are they worse off?
  7. I had a pop at celtic you leaped to their defence."champ"
  8. Almost as interesting as a St Mirren fan defending Celtic, they promised you another pre season game? Assume you've still got their sign stored for the club shop.
  9. Btw, why are Celtic so fucking quiet? Usually the c***s are baw deep trying to play the victim, the silence is deafening.
  10. Is this grammar patter? Standard grade English only goes so far I suppose but I'm sure incline is correct
  11. My understanding from any comment about null and void was the worry sky etc wouldn't pay out, this appears to no longer be a worry. For me the big questions are mostly about timing. Why did the spfl say 5pm on Friday? Why did they announce the results before having Dundee's vote? Why are we trying to do this before the Uefa meeting? We all know football isn't coming back for months so there's no rush at all to get this done. To me Celtic want it done quick because Lawwell has an incline as to what Uefa are thinking. Even if that is far fetched my question about the rush remains unanswered.
  12. Why is null and void not an option? Sky have said they won't ask for a rebate down south so I would imagine its the same up here? The clubs can be loaned the money from the spfl so really what is the reason we are rushing this? Imo Celtic and Lawell are trying to rush it through ahead of Uefas meeting, I think Uefa will be going for null and void for most leagues.
  13. In what way are the no voters voting in self interest but the yes ones aren't? They've made it out to be about being able to help clubs faster financially when they have that option anyway. Why are they rushing this? Especially before Uefa discuss it.
  14. Forgot to mention the young team, made a racket from start to finish. Nice to see them supporting their local team, definitely better than most of their counterparts around the country.
  15. Well, where to start. Absolute horrer show from Hearts, the lack of tactics is embarrassing. Naismith has become a total passenger and looks like he's chucked it. Damour, not sure I'm ready to discuss him yet. St Mirren could've won that by 3/4 goals and felt hard done by, no Barcelona but the outworked Hearts like we'd just done to hibs. Think that was my third visit to the new ground, good set up saints have, decent crowd in too. Well deserved 3 points against a gutless hearts team.
  16. Christ! Good luck to the plooky students having to turn away folk for coughing.
  17. In the unfortunate event this goes ahead, where is the best bet for parking? I remember being in an industrial estate bit last time but think that was on a supporters bus.
  18. Pretty shite all round tbh, weather wasn't great at all and the pitch is w**k. Didn't think Hearts created much until later on when falkirk seemed to tire a bit. Falkirk pretty unlucky to not score hitting the woodwork 3 times. I think the worrying thing is Falkirk never played well and still created a few chances. I think we are really in danger of going down. Poor turnout from the home crowd, I might be remembering my youth wrongly but I always thought of Falkirk as being a pretty well supported team.
  19. Killie good value for their win, organised and hit shots straight at the fucking Diddy in goals. Hearts really are woeful defensively.
  20. See you guys have punted 3000 tickets so far, is that a good show or not so much? Would've been good to have the ground full but if it were Hearts and the old firm I wouldn't want to be outnumbered, although the financial boost would probably be welcomed. Anyway, from the league table falkirk look similar to Airdrie. I'll go 3-1 hearts
