We wouldn't be signing him as backup, we would be signing him as competition for Fox. If he doesn't get offers to be a first choice in the SPL then I don't see why he would turn down us to play for less money in a division below with a piss-poor team. If McGovern feels he could displace Fox then he would be crazy not to come to Firhill. It's just newspaper talk at the moment though.

Uhuh. I think we are considering he's been socialising with our management team but it would be naive for us to go all ut for Tuffey but he goes elsewhere leaving us with nothing.
