  1. Lamie and Mugabi at the back. Best of luck to St Johnstone in the next round.
  2. I'm all for this kind of thing to scout players. I think we're long past the point of sending a scout out to scribble down names on the back of a fag packet. And anything that might prevent us from signing anyone like Jordan White or Ricky fucking Lamie again in future is more than welcome.
  3. I still suspect we'll look at emptying him in January. He's like a worse Alex Fisher.
  4. One can only assume White skyrocketed off the bottom of the table after his Herculean performance off the bench on Saturday.
  5. Mugabi's improvement in form coincided with a couple of things: 1. We put him in the middle of a back 3 so there was less requirement for him to play football outside of heidering/booting the ball to f**k. 2. He was playing next to Lamie who would make Louis Laing look like a total competent centre half.
  6. I can't work out how there's a worse striker than Jordan White. Please show your working.
  7. We are definitely not keeping Gallagher, eh? An absolutely impeccable performance from him last night. Mitrovic will be having Declan Gallagher shaped nightmares.
  8. Kevin McBride fits into that bracket. Was shit hot on loan, then just shit when he signed. NB: Honourable mention to him for being an absolute baller in CM 03/04 though.
  9. Probably difficult to look like it's not sour grapes but Celtic have not been very good. I think the massive gaps in budgets is what will keep Lennon in a job for a while, which in turn is just sleepwalking in to handing the title to Rangers.
  10. The foaming at the mouth when Hastie was leaving was a bit odd. After his initial purple patch he didn't really do too much as I think folk had kind of worked him out. It is also looking like getting the development fee was one of our better business decisions.
  11. I think we all saw that when he joined he didn't have the legs for pressing. Always looked absolutely burst after about 55 minutes. Now he's fit enough to last 90 minutes he's pressing like a mad man all the time. Coupled with some of his absolutely shaggable passes I think he's a class player.
  12. So I think the main benefit of having O'Hara at centre back is that he's not Rickie Lamie. Which can only be a good thing. He's not really been tested too much defensively in his two games but also when the ball is in the air and O'Hara's underneath it I don't face the overwhelming feeling of dread I get when I'm waiting on seeing how Lamie will handball/miss it/foul someone. Do I think it'll be a different story against Edouard/Griffiths etc? Yes. Do I think we should change it with Lamie being 'available'? Absolutely not. I'd rather play a one legged Charlie Dunne, Steelman or dig a hole at centre back.
  13. I suspect he'll be sitting with a big, fat donut in the stats by January and we'll punt him out then.
  14. If @capt_oats wants to delve into his gif vault for the through ball to Hylton last season I would not be angry about it.
