I'm not on the Hammell Out bus but I do think he needs to get a grip. Every single week without fail we concede a goal that would be a riddy for an amateur side and we don't seem to be doing anything to address it. Johansen is a liability and has maybe the worst positional sense of any defender I can remember. I'm not opposed to McGinn as a 6 but we are in dire need of a body in there. Goss was miles off it, Spittal's lost at the best of times and slinging Maguire on doesn't help at all. Overall I'd be absolutely astounded if we're not in the bottom 2 come May.

I went to a Stockport game earlier in the season when I was in Manchester on a stag do. Doesn't look like this guy was in the squad so maybe he would have made a terrible game better. Although my main takeaways from that day: Danny Johnson was up front for Walsall and he's still utter garbage. The Stockport club anthem is "The Scarf my Father Wore" and that is to the tune you think it is.

I was coming on to say if you stuck Lamie in next to Aldred that would be fine. The fact we're seeing him as the leader is chronic.
