  1. They replace them in conference A, I've seen that confirmed. I would hope they replace them in the challenge cup but as that's a joint league competition that may not be confirmed as yet.
  2. Is it only okay with the EoS to change the EoS application process? Yes.
  3. Syngenta are meant to have applied for the East Juniors. Along with a Dunblane team playing out of Sauchie and the basically guaranteed Linlithgow Rose & Bo'ness United junior editions. Technically more could apply for the juniors up until they've had their AGM.
  4. Maybe if I say "Breadalbane will have to join the Highland League if they want to get a license" will bring up the poster that has knowledge on what they might be doing.
  5. Breadalbane is something I've really only seen here and early you would of thought they would be included in the proposed regional split graphic. But that only included 2 unnamed south teams.
  6. Can only think it's Dundonald. Don't think Jeanfield have their lights up yet.
  7. Does Eyemouth at least have a team(s) in the Borders League to keep the interest going? Just looking at the team names there are none with Eyemouth in it.
  8. I was going to say it's not like Kinnoull would be making a move like this with an eye on licensing. And I very much doubt that's their primary reason especially with how late this has all come about. However, a quick check shows that they are listed as having floodlights on NonLeagueScotland. While there are other licensing hurdles to jump through with them not having any cover listed. Floodlights are obviously seen as the big ticket item that would usually hinder a club's ambitions.
  9. Sorry to hear about Eyemouth taking the year out. I've seen Haddington's twitter be the first to post it, so its beyond forum gossip at this point. Sincerely hope they come back in 2020/21 as they kept on ticking all through 2018/19 when others would have packed it in. Fortunately with the format for this year's First Division Conferences a replacement has been found in the unlikely form of Kinnoull Juniors. They finished 3rd in the East Region's Premier North. Which I believe would of entitled them to a spot in the new North Super League that the East Juniors have come up with. Instead they'll be battling it out in Conference A
  10. Has to be. An unfortunate situation with football in the Borders at the minute with Selkirk, Duns and Kelso having fallen out of senior football of late largely down to player recruitment and competitiveness. Not sure if Eyemouth even replaced their manager from last month's vacancy.
  11. That's unfortunate about Eyemouth. Was really hoping this could of been a bit of a turnaround with some of the bigger team shifted up to the Premier. Kinnoull is certainly a surprise though!
  12. Perhaps with how they've been burned they're keeping it close to the chest till it's official. Announce you've got a license, great! Does that mean you're promoted? Are you full members of the SFA? Can the SFA still pull the rug from under us again?
  13. All they needed was floodlights for the license. The gossip has been that they were due a visit by the licensing officer this week. Either people are being presumptuous with the floodlights up or they've had the licensing visit and positive news is spreading.
  14. All clubs were asked to fill out the survey and I remember at least one North Club patching it saying it's not relevant to them as it never included the North Region.
  15. They were meant to have an EGM before the AGM to vote on actioning the results of the survey. That's the new mandate that TJ is meant to be negotiating on. So what exactly was said at the 2018 EGM is what matters. Because the way I remember the survey it ignored entering the North and was only asking if East & West should enter. If the vote was for all of regions to enter the pyramid, then TJ hasn't acted on the vote. If it was just for East & West to enter then TJ has done what he's been told.
  16. I think he's looking for what was voted on at the 2018 egm. Not stuff from 10 years ago. Any entry would presumably negotiate boundaries between the leagues. The EoS and SoS claim to oversee different areas so there's been a large grey area not claimed by either. Which is why they've never needed a boundary between them. That would change with the grey are being overtaken by the WR.
  17. Since Bonnyrigg is apparently confirmed as licensed. Any news on the Bluebell front?
  18. The reason it was asked if you were being funny is that it's something that gets asked regularly. BSC have tried, and the way I understand past discussion is that Warriors don't want them there.
  19. Couldn't find the document from when the vote on moving was about to take place. Could of sworn part of it that floodlights would have been available. Quick look from the facebook photos they've put of the work being done do show floodlights. Unfortunately, they're facing other pitches
  20. Googling "Warout stadium dilapidation order" basically brings up PnB and the FifeFootball forum (which at a glance seems to have some of the same posting styles of those on PnB). Then there's the article section from The Courier which only relates to stuff from 2017 https://www.thecourier.co.uk/tag/warout-stadium/
  21. You'd probably see clubs filter through the SoS in the same way East Kilbride, Edusport and Bonnyton have done. Perhaps they could try for the EoS as well. It's a limited pool outside the WRJFA, really just youth clubs looking for a senior outlet to continue their pathway.
  22. Going into 2019-20 Auchinleck are in the middle of fundraising for floodlights. Cumnock, Clydebank with the renovated Holm Park, Rutherglen Glencairn would probably get licensed. Kilwinning moving to the Sports Club gives them floodlights but they might need additional work done on other aspects like cover for a 100. Just like Benburb, and by virtue of groundsharing Rossvale, would need cover at the very least. That's 7/16 West Premiership clubs that could probably get licensed by the end of the 2019-20 season if they wanted to do it.
  23. Could be. Maybe the board were meeting on Monday to go over agenda topics for the AGM and that got mixed up with the dates.
  24. I did say it was Monday after asking the Lowland League at the end of May.
