Hopefully Whittle turns out to be a real steal for us then. If we get Husband and get Dowie back I think we'll just need one more defender. Does anyone know who between Kane and Geggan would be the defensive midfielder?

Is Whittle likely to be ahead of Willis? Hopefully JJ will strengthen the defence soon, although I've only heard good things about Munro and Young.

Any opinions on what could be a likely team for Saturday? I don't want to make any guesses because I have no idea on how good the new guys are compared to the remaining players from last season.

Is signing Murray just a rumour or do we actually know that we're trying to sign him? If we do I will wait to see him play before I pass judgement.

He's correct about the 'Corrupt and Unfit for Purpose SFA/SPL' at least. It's terrible that they idly sat by and let Rangers destroy Scottish football's integrity without taking swift and decisive action, allowing the whole affair to drag on all summer.

I'm getting exasperated with Rangers fans simply not understanding the situation and the true reality they now face. I can't count how often in the past week I have had to remind one of them that they are not being relegated, rather the vote is for entry into the SFL as they are a NEW club. They also can't accept that old Rangers are dead and their history has gone with it. To top it all off they say it is Celtic fans and fans of us 'diddy' clubs that have got it wrong.

The wooden leg team might not be very good but at least they have players.

The funny thing is, they're right.

Dear the SPL, SFL, SFA and anyone else who have a decision to make. Make Newco apply for entry into the Third Division. Treat them like any other and nobody can honestly complain. Sincerely, Fans of Scottish football.
