Rangers in 2007-08 on their way to the UEFA Cup Final.

    Motherwell won 3 games in 2010-11. Aberdeen won 3 games in 2014-15 + 2016-17.

Other than those, only non-OF examples winning 3 games since the 1980s :o are Hearts in 2001-02 and Hibs in 2006-07.

Last non-OF to win 4 was Hearts in 1988-89.

Maybe Aberdeen? They only won the one game? Thats fucking mental.

On Pie and Bovril feeble minds complain

Of word play and verse, 'let it cease!' they cry

But wordsmen, relent not! No verse deny

Continue until no more cries remain

Thus bring around change in this one forum

To the standard of Leishman all must strive

Or the standard of Jackson will survive

Such drivel will kill our dreams of decorum

Patience we show to those who vent

They know not the pleasure of art

In time they will come, words to cherish

For now we accept no insult is meant

Only the pleas of their longing heart

Which no good poster allows to perish

See how we'll be playing Partick four times this season (three if Partick finish top six) - why in the name of f**k are we playing a friendly against them this very weekend?

They're relegated, they'll just want to hone their hoof. From Scotland's hoofchiefs.

Mallan is a fantastic signing for us - 4 year deal.

If we can get Scott Allan and Jamie Maclaren back in (both looking likely) as well as signing Daryl Horgan, we are going to be looking in very good shape (again) for next season, never mind further (likely) signings.  I think Swanson will play a much bigger part this season, so having Swanson,  Mallan,  Allan, Slivka, Boyle and Horgan as midfield options is not bad at all.   Still think there is more to come on top of that!

Big change in midfield, it's very attack minded. Maybe too lightweight.

That’s just blatantly false. There is no such bus called “bobby sands csc” touring Europe this pre-season.

It’s “the Gallant Bobby Sands MP” csc bus that’s on tour this summer and it’s pretty bloody decent, a bit cramped and the seats are not the comfiest but I’m enjoying it so far.

You got a ticket? Damn, you're one jammy b*****d. I missed out this year.

Those of you who don't like exotic foreigners from teams you've never heard of can relax

UCLA, aye? Was Napier's goalie snapped up? Pure diddy league stuff.

The problem is, these idiots would still be employed for transmissions in England.  The extra cost would come from having to pay for local commentators/pundits in the other transmission areas, so that Buddist Monk (and his Welsh and Northern Ireland equivalents) isn't subjected to the inane drivel that is causing him so much frustration..

It's got a lot worse. We had our own coverage, maybe ten years ago.

There is other shite too, that makes it more sinister. And the beeb's to blame.

    • You have a standard English pundit. Take Gary Lineker. He recognises England have a rivalry with Germany, and enjoys it. It is a reason I remember England-Germany games. I have no real problem with those guys, but they are still English pundits for an English audience.
    • Then you have English pundits 'discovering' Scotland.  Like that utter w**k that came up to Scotland to talk about Anyone But England as if its not been around since the 19th century (what was all these iconic moments in Scottish footballing history, 1967, 1977 and digging up Wembley all about?) and even formed the basis for modern international football (why was the first international friendly between Scotland and England?). Even there, that's just a symptom of the fact the English people are being asked to cover Scottish football, it's like asking a German to give us a rundown on the English resentment to Germany's successes.
    • But what I really can't stand, and where I agree with you is that Scottish journalists can be worse than those guys (or as bad), and I imagine Welsh ones are even worse than Scottish ones. Scottish commentators and pundits nearly all consider the fact the BBC presents Scottish football as a novelty sideshow as perfectly normal. They will gleefully give us updates on a Scottish diddy's career in the championship as if everyone at a game on Saturday should care Barrie McKay scored against Preston. Funnily enough I find a lot of the English players that have been here for a while (like Chris Sutton and even Terry Butcher) or Scottish players that played in England have the most respect for our game.
    • Then there are the dribbling bellends writing for the BBC and newspapers, who - for whatever reason - will convince the vast majority of Scottish football fans that is all in their heads and go as far to tell folk to support England and present it as some forward-thinking revolutionary concept, as if they are fighting for the emancipation of slaves and not being oddities in the oldest rivalry in football. They are truly the dregs of sports journalism. Offering nothing but gibberish to Scottish football fans, English football fans, or any football fans anywhere at any time.
