  1. It's actually at the cringe stage seing the "rape rovers" shtick for me, which I'd assume you see a bit more on the podcasts twitter account etc. It's always the people who couldn't point to Raith on a map saying it also...
  2. He's not voldemort, people are allowed to say his name and enjoy how far we've come as a club since. (I may or may not be watching Harry Potter with the wee one)
  3. That depends when their contract ends Shirley. The likelihood of them having a contract that ends a month later than everyone else's is pretty slim though.
  4. I was sat down the front with the young ones and had no problem getting them to move so I could stand at my seat. Quite enjoyed being in with them and getting involved singing with them as well to be honest. There was a fair bit of aggro between them and the stewards early on in the game about standing in the stairs but they where generally pretty well behaved.
  5. Was just a good weekend away with the family which was much needed at the time.
  6. Arbroath managed it last week so I'm not sure why we wouldn't be able to.
  7. This thread is definitely missing granny, is he not posting here anymore? Hope the auld boy is alright.
  8. Beaton even tried to give them "Murray time" by playing 8? Minutes extra... Felt like he had just reset his watch to zero once it went to 90 though, not going to lie.
  9. The pass from stanton... The 3 players easton just sends for a walk...
  10. Surely in any form of sport throughout the world? I think he alluded to never finding anyone who's had the same level of that injury
  11. How is Greig? I seen oor Lewis has spoken to him. Wish the young man all the best in his recovery.
  12. Don't really need to kill games off when all you need to do to go 5 points clear is score one more than the other team tbh. (I'll probably never regret enjoying this night, but just incase) Spent a fantastic weekend in Ayr in October and think they're thoroughly good people through that way.
  13. I think it will be interesting to see how we react if/ when that happens also. I also think the business teams do in January could be massive. Both of us can improve our squads and push on but it's undoubtedly utd that have the resources to really push the boat out. I'm not ruling thistle out yet especially after our two games against them but it's hard to argue that, for the moment at least, this isn't a two horse race. Did the United fans just go on generic football flag shop for the 10 they had swinging about pre match? I think there was only one of them that actually had anything remotely Dundee utd looking about them (other than the black and tangerine)
  14. Genuinely didn't realise Middleton was playing today. Not even being funny about it, just didn't see the utd lineup and didn't recognise the guy. Makes sense now you've said it though. Something that needs said is, we're top of the league having played Scott Brown at cb for the majority of the season due to Watson being injured. For all the attacking options we've got, our defence has been makeshift for at least 60% of the season. Id imagine both clubs will look to strengthen in January in whatever way we both can and I'm looking forward to this hopefully going all the way (with us pipping you to the title obviously)
  15. He's been to a few of our games and I must say, it's fantastic to see what he does with getting people hyped about the game at all levels.
  16. Something that hasn't been touched on anywhere iv seen so far was the block that euan Murray made from a shot at the edge of the box. just a fucking fantastic block and sums the guy up. There where some weirdos who held a grudge because he left us but euan Murray has been an integral part to our success thus far Imo. Especially with Watson being out for so long.
  17. I actually thought it was one of the ball boys getting a bit ahead of himself at the time. Either way the wee man probably won't live it down at school on Monday.
  18. Don't think they did with this one, I'm not sure many people seen it although someone from behind shouted at whoever it was but I couldn't tell from where I was who it actually was
  19. That genuinely was a tremendous tackle from millen. Not to sour things too much but I was in the middle with the younger fans and there was something thrown at the utd keeper during the first half. No idea who it actually was, but if you're reading this, get yourself to f**k you moron.
  20. The club deserve a massive amount of credit today for putting the buses on and getting people there to back the players on the pitch. The management team deserve a massive amount of credit for the job they're doing. The players are the ones on the pitch though and the effort, skill and belief they show game after game is fucking tremendous. A great time to be a rover and long may it continue!
  21. Can we get this talk about getting rid of players in the bin. We've just went 5 clear at the top of the league ffs.
  22. He's looked better with them recently in fairness to him.
  23. Yeah iv only just got round to finish listening to it. Interesting to hear that he's already doing his badges and also that he still has that desire to play in the premiership, hopefully with us, but considering he's out of contract in the summer...
  24. Vaughan was a guest on this podcast at the weekend for anyone wanting to listen. It was last weekend, guess I'm late to the party with it.
