  1. Best away day in ages, you can’t beat a last-minute winner – absolute scenes 🤣. Although it’s still early days, Jimmy Thelin reminds me of Calderwood and McInnes, who seemed to get the best out of the players we already had. Not too long ago, Aberdeen fans were booing Morris during the disastrous Warnock management days when he was hung out to dry, playing as a wing-back.

Nine in a row – just mad, never thought I’d see it.

Spoke about how Leven has been a help to him and his staff learning how the Scottish game works

players work hard come in on days off to go the gym

Doesn’t like looking back always looks forward and see us a project

meal he could live off his spaghetti Bolognese as only thing he can make

would love to sit down with sir Alex Ferguson as learn the history of his time at the club

mentioned the clubs DNA a lot.

Rob Maclean mentioned would be no talk of Duk due to legal actions

came across very well and seems like can have a laugh

Didn’t reveal much, haha, but it was great to hear his thoughts. The fans were always going to be positive given the strong start he’s had here, but it will be interesting to see how he fares next season if things don’t start as well.

  3. It looks like a promising transfer window for us:

Goalkeeper: A significant improvement with Mitov replacing Roos.

Defence: Molloy has performed well in the league matches after some concerning moments in the League Cup, so hopefully, he proves to be an upgrade on Jensen, Gartenmann, and Stewart. We do appear a bit short in some defensive areas, but we should start giving Milne some game time. If we face several injuries, we can always move Shinnie back into that position.

Midfield: It's a pity Barron left, as he was far from the finished article, but the signing of Nilsen is a massive upgrade – he’s been a brilliant addition. Hopefully, we’ll see Palaversa soon to make a judgement – with his signing, it was wise to loan Duncan out to get some game time.

Wingers: Disappointing to lose Hoilett, as he looked excellent just before the split when he regained his fitness. However, he did mess the club about, so we ended up signing Keskinen for a substantial fee, and hopefully, he will prove to be an even better option.

Strikers: It’s unfortunate to lose Miovski, and we will be slightly weaker in this area, but hopefully, Nisbet steps up like he did at Hibs. I haven’t been impressed with Ambrose so far, but hopefully, he just needs time to settle.

Overall, I think this transfer window has been positive for the club, and we have strengthened the squad with some quality signings.

  4. I’m a bit concerned about this one, as Ross County have been solid at home with just one defeat since March, and they’ll probably be hurting after the Rangers result.

Aberdeen are playing with confidence and have been getting a bit of luck in some games, which won’t last forever.

With it being a 5:45pm kick-off on Saturday, quite a few fans are likely to be very intoxicated :D

  5. Gigs in September:

1st - Edinburgh Psych Festival -(Various venues featuring Gruff Rhys, Divorce, Bug Club, New Dad, Pigs x 7, Juniore, Temples, Cloth, Gurriers)
    15th - Kiioto (Mono)
17th - Arab Strap (Lemon Tree)
    25th - Hamish Hawk (Tunnels)
30th - Godspeed You! Black Emperor (Barras)

I had tickets for Arab Strap at the Barras and also Los Campesinos! on the 21st, but the Spartans match at 5:30 pm put an end to those plans.

Was just pissing about on Twitter and saw a post saying 650 local kids had free tickets for our game the other Sunday.

That's absolutely class, tbh. Every team should be filling space with free tickets for schools etc. 👏

The Junior DNA membership is an excellent idea. It's free to join for anyone under 12, and members receive two free tickets for any game, which, unsurprisingly, many took advantage of for the St Mirren match. There are also several events held throughout the year – I believe a few weeks ago, one of them was the chance to watch the players train and meet the team.

  7. I would be pleased with Nisbet if we sign him. Here's a player who has scored goals for Raith Rovers, Dunfermline, and Hibs. He may have had a disappointing spell at Millwall, but if we let that put us off, then we wouldn't have gone for Jamie McGrath, who struggled at Wigan Athletic and wasn't particularly impressive at Dundee United either. Yet, he has been outstanding for us.
