And it was, Bob hitting 68 to get to -5 and miss it by one. 10 birdies in his two rounds but he just can't seem to cut out the bogeys.
Couple of 3 putt bogeys over the 2 days

I mentioned on the other thread they would be screaming about postal ballet fraud
Step 1 start the rumour of it being close
Step 2 lose
Step 3 scream fraud
Straight out of Trump's playbook

Some thoughts that the cut might even go to 6 under.
Either way Bob needs a good day at the office.
Hopefully both Scots make it through.
I'm out of the house today so won't see the early coverage but they were saying yesterday that likely to be ball in hand again today so low scoring predicted

When the lads got to -23 I was like "hwfg" but overall a decent week for them $150k each and 52 FedEx points each

I don't like this obsession you Peterhead lads have with late goals. Not at all.

Knoxy off at 1353 and boab at 1610 our time
Be interesting how Rory/Lowry get on today as they are in the last group with Rai/Kurt ..Rai is a really "deliberate" player ( slow as) and Rory especially in the past gets frustrated when playing with slow players and tends to make mistakes Basically I'm trying to think of a way Tam and Boab come steaming through to take a 10 shot lead going into Sunday

For those staying in or around Heidelberg, a good pub to go to is 'the Mohr'.
Nice place, sports orientated, football memorabilia on the walls etc. Located just off the main square.
The owner is a good guy, have attended many Hannover 96 games with him.
That reminds me I really must revisit a pub that has a slide down to the toilets .Name escapes me just now but I'll have a dig around after I get home from the game today

I watched half an hour of the early coverage and what felt like 15 mins of it was Cantplay standing around for a ruling on the fringe for no apparent reason then once he got it, walking slowly around the green to check his line. He and partner then three putted. Magical stuff.
Bob and Detry well placed (it looked windy). Anyone know if winning this would get them an exemption for next year? The nature of the event makes me think not, but can't find any info. McIlroy and Lowry must be strong favourites anyway.
41 minutes ago, peasy23 said:Not sure about exemptions, but it's a full quota of FedEx points.
Yeah they get full pga tour card for next 2 years
Here is a full list of what a win will get for each player
Each member of the winning team in New Orleans earns more than mere cash: fully exempt status through 2026, 400 FedEx Cup points, spots in the upcoming PGA Championship, Charles Schwab Challenge and Memorial Tournament, plus entry to the 2025 Sentry Tournament and Players Championship. It’s a heck of a return for only hitting half of the shots in half of the rounds.

I'd rather watch a game at Victoria Park where there is a real atmosphere than that excuse for a ground at Meadowbank.
It would have been easy for the SpeeFL to let the games go ahead then if Buckie won give them the guidance to get their
ground up to scratch before the season started. When I compare Bonnyrigg's ground with Buckie's, I wonder what the
criteria is.
