Went to AFC Liverpool v West Didsbury & Chorlton on Hogmanay. The home side coming back from 2-0 down to win 3-2 in front of 152.

I thought it was great Salvo like you say a real old school feel to it. Really easy to get in and out of. I went for thr cheaper seats down the front and it was good view. Wouldn't like to sit there on a wet day mind

Went to Ipswich v Fulham on Boxing Day ... While down South for Xmas got to Wokingham & Emmbrook in the Hellenic League on Xmas eve and yesterday to Eagle Sports in the Cheshire League in Warrington on my way to Liverpool.

Was one of those days when it proved harder to play against 10 men than 11. The home side deserved their lead and should have went in front before they did. After John Hall's sending off Connor McGregor moved to right back and JR back into the middle leaving Scott Gormley to lead the line on his own. He tapped in the equaliser after great work initially by Steven Manson. The 2nd goal was a big blow just before half time and easily avoidable. 2nd half the Welfare got on top and an equaliser looked a distinct possibility. Great finish for the third though which came on the break with the keeper clearing with Connor Brydon bearing down. The 4th was very unlike Bryan fumbling a tame shot. Roll on Gala next week.

I don't agree 'You' / Leeds were the better side for the first 75 minutes. Liverpool had about 3/4 of the possession and chances wise pretty similar. Had some big chances to take the lead in the 2nd half before Liverpool got on top.

Hard lines lads that could easily have gone the other way.

It will make a massive difference. Being stuck away up in the gods always took the shine off one of the best away days of the season. The first time I went to St James Park we were in the corner down I wonder if Newcastle will return away fans to that area. With Sunderland expect a return to the old away end behind the other goal.
