Larkhall Thistle 4 Carluke Rovers 0
Comfortable win keeps us firmly on top of the league with all the other promotion hopefuls still to come to Gasworks Park.
35 league goals scored so far.
Another Larkie win , away to Vale of Clyde. Weve won away there, at Lanark and Irvine Vics, all promotion hopefuls. Lots of home games coming up, looking good.
Yes, I am well aware of that, since we beat EK Thistle 3-2 recently at home only to lose to EK 3-0 a week later in the Challenge Cup. There was a huge gulf in the standard of players at the EK clubs, the latter being able to field ex-Internationals. Keep your patronising comments to yourself.
I was there with others, but its not exactly a welcoming environment for Larky fans or the Thistle team. Green flares, Tricolours ( not that bothers me in the least ) , dubious songs and over the top verbal assaults on our players. I can assure you that our excellent Polish players is most definitely not an Orange Ba....d.
Dont kid yourself, Larkhall fans were there, I was one of them.
Its such a hostile and unpleasant atmosphere. The abuse directed at our players was a disgrace. Our young players stood up very well.
All the Irish stuff dosent offend me, I like Ireland.; however the songs have no place at WoSFl fixture.
That's how stupid and thick these clowns are
One with a Palestinian Flag. ( Actually most decent people would have sympathy with the plight of the Palestinians. The relevance to a WoS L fixture escapes me )
Cant say I am aware of Mossad or the Israeli Army wandering around Larkhall. Maybe I havent noticed.
A huge crowd turn up because Larkhall are in town, whom they perceive as- well, perhaps they could explain what..
With great forbearance.
Even a Larkhall player who is a Polish Catholic was called an ***********.
They do a great rendition of the Irish National Anthem, the purpose of which escapes me, and other ditties.
