Rangers are the common denominator in all this. They are synonymous with violence and riots. Barcelona 1972, Hampden 1980, Manchester 2008, Hampden 2016 and I've probably forgotten some others.

Most definitely and it certainly wouldn't be my first thought to go and abuse opposition supporters had we just won the cup but I can also confidently say that I wouldn't feel the need to retaliate or get on the pitch looking for revenge. There are a good few morons in that video overstepping the mark but it's largely harmless IMO.

I've stood at grounds such as Ibrox and Pittodrie and have been goaded, gestured for a fight, abused etc. Even after a sore defeat I've never felt the need to take anyone up on their offer because I'm not a foaming simpleton and recognise that it's just part of football.

If we're being honest 'goading' and 'provocation' happen at grounds up and down the country every week. It's quite clear that a lot of Rangers supporters simply don't like it up them and can't hack losing. This problem will always arise when you have so many supporters with an entitlement complex and a feeling that their team has the right to just turn up and win every game because of who they are.

Don't forget that Rangers Media is clearly not in any way representative of the Rangers fan base and that, according to Tedi, half of the posters on P&B have an account on there.

Unfortunately the two go hand in hand in Scottish football and your supporters show themselves up on a regular basis. I wouldn't expect an armchair supporter that watches his team on the telly to have any idea about the Rangers support however.
