  1. Wouldn't be surprised to see junior Clark back playing for daddy and Johnston, maybe on loan, or the lad Smith who was impressive for St Mirren. Now Shankland has gone  to Utd they have a surplus of strikers. Neilson didn't bring in either of those two in so I would expect they'll be the first to go.

Just my thoughts though and not that I'd want the former.

Been on here a few weeks now and I have to admit I don’t think I have heard so much negativity from fans of one club . Why don’t we give the manager and the board a little time to bring things together . Yes someone will likely say I posted to say about 6-8 signings inc 2 ex players still very sure this will happen . I have been following queens for a long time and yes I was one of the 914 fans in Copenhagen.
The one thing I am 100% sure of is the football will be a lot more enjoyable than the rubbish we had GN should have gone in January I think the Patrick game will go down as one of the poorest I have ever witness at Palmerston and if the chairman had not made the decision to get rid we would not have beaten Montrose and would now be in seaside league .

Is that you Alan or is it Sandy? :)

Presumably Falkirk are offering higher wages than Queen of the South.

On that subject, has anyone checked that @Hawk is okay? I'm a bit worried for his general well-being with AJ and Sandy pitching up at Palmerston.

I'm fine, thanks for the mention!

Yes my match day experience will certainly take a turn for the worst with those two muppets in charge. Next thing we'll have supporters clamouring for young Nicholass to come back to play for daddy once he can't get a start at Utd. Oh happy days. :shutup

Slighhe's  off topic but where is Sir Stephen sitting in our all time top goal scorer chart now?

Looking at wiki I see he scored 47 in  84 appearances in his first spell between 2007 and  2009.

He played game 85 of his second spell last night and has scored 56 goals. He can’t be too far away from third place now.

Would expect the shirt sponsors BFL are felling rather pleased with all the publicity he's getting!

For me Naysmith has had to 'manage' in far more difficult circumstances in their qos spells than AJ. I've seen nothing in their respective managerial careers to date that suggests AJ is a better manager than GN.

Random stats below as i was interested.

    Average qos ppg:

    Jim McIntyre = 1.56

    Kenny Brannigan = 1.50

    Gordon Chisholm = 1.44

    Gary Naysmith = 1.44

    James Fowler = 1.36

    Gus Macpherson = 1.00

    Stats from:

    https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/

Not to mention AJ's stats include us as a full time team in the league below. GN's doing fine lets just go out and support the guy and his team.

I think that's fair. Wouldn't say Martin is the main culprit for either goal but he was out of position in both cases and maybe needs to do more shouting to organise defence.. Very good cross for the first but really poor defending to misjudge it so badly and let the attacker have a free header. Doyle FFS for the second. Wasn't even a half chance really.

Martin is at fault for both.  He's in no mans land for the first and he's got to be instructing Doyle for the second as well as being in the right position.

Most baffling bit about the appointment is seeing him described as a former United player. Can honestly say I have absolutely no memory of him playing for you lot.

Unsure if Neilson will get you the title but I'd say it guarantees top four, which would have been 50/50 under Czaba.

He was there on lone for a short while. Good appointment for them but not the rest of us.

One thing is Frizzels comments about the "attacking on the deck", it seems Naysmith has realised we are better on the deck and actually encourages this now, also brought in players who suit this style. Dykes has improved massively also so when we do go long it's not always coming back to us. Is it bad that I don't want either of our Starting CBs to get back into this team, no suprised we are defending better now without them.

Yet we conceded 3 yesterday! ^_^ Aye well as long as we score 4.

You couldn't be more wrong on that front. There have been more arrests among the visiting support when Dundee United visit in the last two seasons than in all the other games added together I believe. All for drunken behaviour of some sort. There have however been no issues at all at the last three now so hopefully that's changing. United are regarded as a high risk visitor though.

Lets be honest though, nobody likes being turned over especially by us border bumkins! ^_^

Yep agree there is nothing new in there, just thought people might like to see it. Still a real concern though, even agreeing that it is what it is. It would be very QOS to somehow get relegated in our centenary season :(

As long as Dobbie and Harkins stay fit we'll have enough to keep  out of the bottom two.
