If you don't mind me asking what aqua terra do you own? There are a couple on chrono 24 that seem in pristine condition (1 black, 1 blue both 41mm on rubber straps) going for a reasonable price and they are eating away at me

41mm, green face on silver, 2020 model. Bought mines off Watchfinder, similar to how you describe. Was worried the 41mm would be a bit too big, problem now is the other watches I have feel too small. Also, I still fucking love the thing.

That was the one I was in to look at unfortunately it felt a little too small at 37mm but I’m convinced that’s only because I’m used to wearing larger watch.

I struggle to wear a few of my watches now, after wearing the Omega AT most of the time for the last year or so. Feels like I have nothing on my wrist at all.

I'd never heard of studio underdog and just seen their 01 Desert Sky and it's lovely. It might have to be bought.

The 02 Full Moon is really nice. Sold out though. I was looking at Kuoe recently and it reminds me a lot of their Old Smith model, which I bookmarked for later this year(hopefully).

  4. Would always call it “Pro Evo” when talking to folk my age, but have called it “PES” on the odd occasion I was playing a younger relative.

The other two don’t need to be asked. Only a sociopath would refer to them as “X” or “FC24”.

  5. Definitely going for the Zurich HM in April. Will do most of my training on the cross trainer in the basement, with the plan being one run outside a week. I usually manage 15-20k on the cross trainer 3x a week as it is, will drop that to 2 shots on the cross trainer(planning 2x 2 hours each time, which should be around 25k a time) and one long, slow run outside for the 3rd cardio session a week. This worked very well for my 10k last year, only ran outside 5 or 6 times and managed a sub 50 minute effort for the first time in around a decade, but I’m not 100% convinced it will work doing more or less double that distance. Fucked if I can be bothered with the constant pain in my ankles, knees and hips that comes with running on the streets any more often than that though.

  6. Going on about 3 years since I more or less stopped drinking. Probably drunk around a bottle of wine and 4 or 5 beers in that time, usually just having one drink with dinner on some occasion or other. I have no idea at this point if I miss having a bevvy or not. Turns out I can talk just as much shite sober as I can when pished. Most zero alcohol beers taste close enough to their full bevvy equivalent that you don’t notice the difference now, which is handy when in the pub because I can still tan 10+ of them when I would be bagged up after a couple of soft drinks, but that also means I don’t save money on nights out. The absence of an almost permanent hangover and a few days of the fear per week is still quite nice.
