Anyone that scores a hattrick at EEP, and then starts doing keepy-uppys is ok in my book.
The same goes for anyone that contributes two goals to win our last ever game against Rangers.
If Farid scores against us he won't celebrate. And if he doesn't score against us, I'll clap him off.
He didn't play against Antwerp, wasn't signed until a couple of games in to the season IIRC
I just had a look back at that season. Seven 0-0 draws. Showunmi, McDonald & Finbogasson got 2 goals between them.
I was at the game when he scored at Tannadice, his only goal for us IIRC (which he took quite well). He was useless though, and then injured. Though tbf McDonald, Showumni & Finnigan weren't any better. How many 0-0 draws did we have that season?
Sorry to question Sir Houstie...but why do we have a trialist keeper? We already have MacDonald and Bowman is a pretty decent backup (on a low wage).
Good to see Grant starting though.
ETA: Good to see Botti with a hattrick, saw him last season at Forfar and hope he gets his chance this season
Happy with that.
Not the easiest to get to for me but terracing under the old Brockville roof and a good away support, along with hopefully some of Sir Houstie's new signings to take a look at makes me a little moist.
I like the red too. The bit that makes me moist though is that we are going to have a proper stitched white crest on a navy background for the first time in 4 years.
Exactly the point I was trying to make. Aisde from the Dundee clubs, the Edinburgh clubs, Aberdeen and the Old Firm (rip), we have the largest home support in Scotland. Quite rightly so, as we have a huge catchment area and are further from Glasgow than Motherwell, Killie etc
That's why it's frustrating we're stuck in the second tier playing to 3,000 crowds when a long line of diddies are plying their trade in the league above.
The season we went down:
Rangers 47,564
Celtic 45,582
Heart of Midlothian 14,484
Hibernian 12,164
Aberdeen 10,461
Dundee United 7,821
Kilmarnock 5,919
Falkirk 5,635
Motherwell 5,307
St. Johnstone 4,717
St. Mirren 4,414
Hamilton Academical 3,005
