I think VAR can be useful but I just don’t think we’re using it correctly. I thought when introduced it would clear up a lot of those contentious decisions but in retrospect I wouldn’t be against getting rid of it.

I have a bad feeling about this.

Idah took his goals well, and boy (scuse the pun) were they needed. Pure relief and joy for both his goals, he’ll have enjoyed the fan’s reaction. A much needed injection of subs in the second half gave us the impetus to push Motherwell back towards their goal. There’s a calmness when CCV is on the pitch and he certainly has the ability to stem the opposition’s attacks. Hopefully we take confidence in that result and start our foot race to the league title.
