Thank f**k there's nothing riding on this game

I spent a few months in Chicago in the late 90s and I have been a Bears fan ever since.
It largely hasn't gone well, although the first 14 seconds of Superbowl XLI were pretty good.

Pleased to get Caleb Williams, pleased and surprised to get Rome Odunze.
I'm sure the Bears will somehow f**k it up from here, but let's be optimistic for now.

Ferrari surely, they’ve got the money, the history and the chance to get Hamilton his 8th. Obviously LeClerc will smoke him but this is like being offered the Real Madrid job or the Newcastle one.The fact that he went to Red Bull all those years ago suggests he's not against going to teams with new money...but Ferrari are Ferrari...

It’s just over a year since fat Tony left. These two things couldn’t possibly be related, could they?
I couldn't possibly comment

Looks like a good appointment on the face of it. In fairness, our recruitment in the last 12 months has been decent.

Yeah. There is that too. Dundee, in very un-Dundee like fashion, made a very sensible appointment last year.
In many ways, Dundee are the blueprint for what we would want to do next season. A sensible managerial appointment and a huge turnover in playing staff. Most of their signings have done well, and as a result they get top 6. Gits

No. He is old and missed most of his games with us through injury. This is the most obvious type of signing to avoid.
If it was a pay as you play sort of thing I'd probably be fine. I like him, but his injury record is a bit of a concern. I guess St Johnstone must have got rid of him for a reason

Have to say the highlights show McAllister a clear and obvious elbow off the ball- what a thug- what an idiot- sure his wages will get docked letting the team down like that…
It was so stupid. If it stays 11v11 I don't think we win that game.

Our squad will, and should, look very different next season. I'm still not entirely convinced by Jim Goodwin, but fair's fair, he has done exactly what was asked of him.

It's maybe worth reflecting that since Ian Murray described Dundee United as "rattled" before our game with them a few weeks back, Dundee United have scored 12 points in 4 games and Raith Rovers have scored 7 points from 5 games.
Sometimes it does pay to do your talking on the park.

I've never seen United win a league before, I was too young in 1983 and the curtailed Covid season, in many respects, didn't count. It's nice, but I feel relief rather than joy.

Raith Rovers hanging on in there for as long as they did kept it interesting, but I can't help thinking they really let us off the hook. We were there for the taking several times this season and they never took advantage of that.

What a horrible game. Ayr were very well organised and hard to play against, and we were nervy as f**k. I don't think for a second we win that without the red card. Oh well.

Imagine a Brazil 2003 race running nowadays - it'd just be red flagged.
Three laps behind the safety car first, obviously

My pet theory is that because they throw the SC at the first hint of rain these days drivers don't know how to drive in the wet any more

Pity, a Hamilton/Alonso front row would have been great. Never mind

Mika has officially announced the sabbatical was not a sabbatical, but a retirement after all.......
Mika was great. I loved him

Brighton, Brentford and now Liverpool linked with the club in partnership/takeover
The Liverpool link seems to be:
1. Liverpool are looking for a feeder club
2. The feeder club they are looking for might be Scottish
3. Dundee United are a Scottish club
4. ££££££

The Harry Kane curse is so powerful it can make Neverkusen win trophies.

Bayer should be 4-0 up by now. This game is definitely finishing 1-1

Probably the best anyone has played against us all season. Airdrie were excellent, and should have won. Play like that in the playoffs and they'll have a great shot of going up.
