I'd say it's down what he does in the rest of the season, if Holt can establish himself with Jobby and Yogi
Think I went to about 2 games under McCall so I'm pretty much the same. I'd have Holt above May already though.

Too early to put him in such a regard just yet. Gets us promoted and keeps us up then maybe. I'm in no place to comment on who our best ever manager is either because I only started going towards the end of Yogi's era.

Is Faulds due back soon? A bag of tatties in midfield would have been more noticeable than him over his loan period.
Firstly, let's be honest - if a game kicked off and there was a bag of tatties sitting in the centre circle it would be the first think you'd notice.
Secondly, his initial loan was only till January as far as I know, so unless there's been an agreement between the 2 clubs to extend it since then yes, he will be due back.0 -
John browns tactics at the time were terrible. He's listened to the fans and changed from 352 to 442 and although at times the football has been shite were so much harder to beat now.
I think your team is well organised but tbh that's about it. No creativity and your strikers are rank rotten. If you guys sign a Lyle taylor you'd have a chance but a Mark Stewart signing then I can't see you guys having a realistic shout.
I wholeheartedly disagree. I think Rory Loy is up there with the best strikers in the league (2nd top scorer btw). As for the lack of creativity? We're no worse than anyone else in the league. Maybe been off the boil in the last 2 games but prior to that it's certainly not been an issue.

I'm probably the biggest Pressley hater there is, but isn't it possible that the players look less nervous now simply because they're more experienced/older? I think Holt has a more attacking approach than Pressley did with us but the experience and development of the players is a massive factor.
Btw, the job Pressley is doing at Coventry is irrelevant when discussing how he did with us ie absolutely horrific.
That could well be the case, merely making the point that our team look calmer and more composed now than they did for 3 years under Elvis.
Don't remember him tinkering with the defence for any reason other than injury which, unfortunately, I think may happen quite often as McCracken appears a bit injury prone.
If that's the case then I stand corrected.

I know what you mean about subs, but if we're comfortably leading a game then we need to give some other players a chance. I don't think the subs have cost us any points have they? Maybe made it a bit more nervy, but no more than that.
Sometimes it's the wrong changes though - I know Bingham's away now but he was getting on ahead of Shepherd and there was also the tendencey to bring on Leahy, when there are clearly better players available. Those are just examples. Also, I don't agree with tinkering with a winning backline when you're ahead, as there's always a risk of throwing it away although that hasn't happened as of yet. Maybe I'm being harsh but as I said, it's a minor thing, and he's showing signs of improving that side of it already.
We would have lost under Pressley? I bet that is what the Coventry fans are saying. Pressley was dealt a bum hand at Falkirk (the vice Chairmans words) and Holt's hand is just as bad and will not get any better. If you are happy with the dross served up in the last two games fine. I for one think it is garbage and for most of the season that has been the case.
I don't doubt he was dealt a bum deal - all I'm saying is that the team under Holt look much less nervous and frustrated. Can't disagree more with the second part of your post though, we can't be great all the time and if we're winning and drawing these games when we're not playing well then you can't really complain.
Alston should definitely been in our team. His ability is head and shoulders above Leahy, who stills gets on before Alston and Sibbald is knackered after 60/65 mins and just kinds floats around like a headless chicken.
Agree to a point. Ability wise Alston should be getting on ahead of Leahy but we need to consider that there may be internal reasons for him being dropped. Attitude issue maybe?

Late goals at home, I think have to be put down to Holt's substitutions. It's a minor thing and I'm sure as a young manager he'll realise what he's doing wrong and adapt. Other than that, I think we're doing just fine. Not seeing this lack of fitness we're going on about?
Also, I'm noticing much more composure and patience in the players - Livi on Saturday and Alloa the week before are two games I think we'd have lost under Pressley, but we remained patient and calm and kept doing what we were doing, which you have to say wasn't an attribute our teams over the last few seasons have generally had.

Roberts is a huffy shite. Someone needs to wake him up and make him aware of the career he could have if he put the effort in, and where he will end up if he doesn't. If he doesn't like the club then tough, he's with us until someone wants to take a punt on him so he may as well make the most of it. Won't get anywhere by going in a huff when things aren't going your way.

Spent ages looking for a car that had the right balance of speed and handling that I could mod and use, I mean literally a good hour or two driving around stealing and testing cars. Picked one up that I thought was perfect and spent a ton of money adding stuff to it to bring it up to speed. Drove it back to Michael's and parked it in the drive. It was gone when after I saved. OK, I thought, I'll just have to do the same again. Went through the whole rigmarole again. It was for the mission where you have to stash the getaway vehicle for Franklin.
The vehicle doesn't matter that much really. All you have to do is blow up a garbage truck then drive away in the vehicle you choose, with no wanted level.

Was in Game after work tonight buying PS3 bundle. This wifie was buying GTA V, standing beside her was her son, he was about 12-13 and had a big cheesy grin all over his face. Obviously she wasn't buying it for hubby.

Are you maybe playing as the wrong character? If you see a green F, blue M or orange T, switch to that character and go to that spot for a mission.
I've been jumping between the characters for ages, nothing. Will just go away and do all the strangers and freaks missions and see if anything comes up.
ETA: the last story mission I did was the torture one, if that's any use? What's supposed to come next?
