all hopes are being pinned on a "lifelong Rangers fan" that no-one had heard of a few weeks ago.
Pretty sure Bill Ng is Malay for Craig Whyte

So just to recap - no-one wants them, apart from the two guys who want to liquidate them?
Couldn't the Scottish media put together a late bid, or would that be a bit too obvious?

Listening to the phone-ins this evening reminds me of the great Only an Excuse sketch where the audience member says "Does the panel think.....eh, that's it, does the panel think?"
Edited for awful spelling!

Keevins finishes up by playing the Roddy Forsyth "I am a football journalist therefore I know little about governance and EBTs"
Well then - why the f*ck are you constantly in the paper and on the radio spouting off about it?

Stranger than Fiction
Will Ferrell plays a guy who has a narration going on in his head. Not too bad - 7/10

^^^^^^iffy laptop keyboard after dog stood on it, combined with me being a lazy bugger re checking my posts.
I hope you sat and had a quiet word with the dog about his/her feelings. Wouldn't want animal rights on you!

? that was a joke ? Really
Why would I want to contact the JC when its the Animal Rights coonts I have issue with? And I didn't raise the issue, so, roooon ye!
Then my apologies for misreading.
But surely the JC would be the experts, and would be able to provide the same facts to AR as you have here? Although I agree that AR probably wouldn't listen.
As for criticising my joke and that "roooon ye!" comment - I didn't want this to get (more) petty but
Cluess re National Hunt .
^^^^^^^^^^^^ Clueless re: spelling

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ exactly the attitude that has cost more horses their lives in the last 10 years than in previous decades.
Cluess re National Hunt .
So because I decide to make a joke, I'm clueless, and my attitude is to blame for the deaths of horses?
I told a joke about a magic tractor the other day - presumably I'm to blame for the dearth of magic tractors?
Maybe you'd be better off contacting the Jockey Club with your concerns, rather than raising them on a predominantly football forum?

Only gonna get worse with the increasing changes forced by the animal rights tossers making it more dangerous for the horses
Have you ever tried jumping a 5ft fence over a 5ft ditch with a midget on your back*? Dangerous as f*ck regardless.
*When falling make sure you use the midget as a crash pad.

And when is the official start of next season?
Positive i read Scottish cup is the final day of this season and next season starts the day after, could be wrong. HJ you wanna help here?
Guaranteed the start of next season will be one day too late to enforce any punishment

Wonder when these "journalists" will grow a pair and ask Uncle Walter how much he was involved?

Mark Hately with another belter today
No wonder the fans are burying their heads in the sand when the "experts" are writing stuff like this.
How dare they penalise Rangers for cheating!

Let's face it, anyone who goes by the name of "Chick" has to be either a comic genius or a cvnt. Chic Murray was one of these and Chick Young is the other. No prizes for guessing who is/was what.
Didn't Chic Charnley fall into both camps?

Chick Young: "My understanding is".
Lies - Chick understands nothing!

its quite incredible how rangers fans can get so raging with such manifestly shite penalties for getting back into the top table debt free. Goes to show how shitty this country is...
Yes, they should be let back in with a £100m fighting fund and a 25 point head start for the next 10000000 years.

Administrator's statement, seems that the Rangers prospective buyers are taking a step back.
The gist being "We're holding off until the SPL confirm that they will do f*ck all about us cheating over the last 20 years, and will let us back in no problem"

That's what I thought, but Hearts are on the list of creditors published by Duff & Duffer as being owed 800K. Why would they do that if they aren't due to pay? Or is there another reason the Hearts debt is ten or twenty times higher than that owed to other Scottish clubs? Who would benefit from the published debt being HIGHER than it really is?
KTID
I'd have thought it's because they are buying Wallace on HP. The next installment isn't due yet, but that doesn't mean that they don't owe the money in the long run.
That's why they are talking about money they are due on transfers writing off money they are due to pay etc

Is Gerald Krasner an insolvency expert because he was Leeds chairman, or was he Leeds chairman because he was an insolvency expert?

Underbidding for Scottish players at other clubs? shurely shome mishtake. More chuckles if it turns out that, for instance Lafferty, is punted on for 500k. The great irony is that when they were babbling on about 2 million for Goodwillie, they may as well have outbid Blackburn seeing they`d no intention of actually paying oustanding fees for players. Could have bid 4 million, paid 500k up front, the rest in installments and add ons and fucked us over like Hertz with Lee Wallace! Dodged a bullet there I think.
Eddie Thompson - told Romanov to f*ck off.
Stephen Thompson - told Rangers to f*ck off.
Two great men.

I did and could not believe the hypocrisy. They both defended themselves saying their job was to report football stories and not business stories and that business editors should be investigating murky financial dealings. When was the last time Sportsound only featured football stories? Every fuckin night they talk about business stories relating to Rangers. So make up your minds lads. If its football only you report then stick to football only.
Presumably the political and religious editors should have been writing about the sectarianism, etc too.
These poor football writers...

At least Bearwithme is willing to come on today. Your fellow bears have been conspicuous by their absence over the last 24 hours.
On holiday rather than in hiding, I'm sure.

It certainly looks that way. A ten point deduction in any of the seasons 2004-05, 05-06, 06-07 or 07-08 wouldn't have changed the league the team was playing in and offloading a load of debts at a fifth of their true value would've been handy.
Interesting viewpoint, Mr Whyte.......

It bothers me greatly. He is paid by the tax funded BBC, the organisation that spends millions promoting it's world wide news service as the last bastion of impartiality, so it is his duty to ask questions to help reveal the truth.
His failure to do this doesn't just show him up to be the snivelling little rat that he is but also highlights the BBC's failure to carry out it's tax funded purpose and reveal what they and the whole of the Glasgow, and probably Scottish, media undoubtedly knew.
The BBC are as guilty as sin as being part of what is a major institutional cover up of the goings on at Ibrox and shows how rotten to the core the public and private sector corridors of power in Scotland are.
I don't know if you listened to Sportsound last night, but if you did, you would have heard Chico and Roddy Forsyth blaming the Business Editors, saying that it wasn't the job of football journos to look into the business side.

So let me get this right.........
Can we now all shaft each other?
If thats the case is it now legal for me to keep my mate's car that he gave me whilst he's on holiday and only give him back the air freshener?
No.
My understanding is that he would have to agree to that deal. If he doesn't, you need to go and get the car scrapped and rebuilt as a newcar, which could use the same number plates and VIN numbers, and then tell him to f*ck off.
