  1. ? that was a joke ? Really

Why would I want to contact the JC when its the Animal Rights coonts I have issue with? And I didn't raise the issue, so, roooon ye!

    Then my apologies for misreading.

But surely the JC would be the experts, and would be able to provide the same facts to AR as you have here? Although I agree that AR probably wouldn't listen.

As for criticising my joke and that "roooon ye!" comment - I didn't want this to get (more) petty but

    Cluess re National Hunt .

    ^^^^^^^^^^^^ Clueless re: spelling ;)

  2. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ exactly the attitude that has cost more horses their lives in the last 10 years than in previous decades.

    Cluess re National Hunt .

So because I decide to make a joke, I'm clueless, and my attitude is to blame for the deaths of horses?

I told a joke about a magic tractor the other day - presumably I'm to blame for the dearth of magic tractors?

Maybe you'd be better off contacting the Jockey Club with your concerns, rather than raising them on a predominantly football forum?

  3. That's what I thought, but Hearts are on the list of creditors published by Duff & Duffer as being owed 800K. Why would they do that if they aren't due to pay? Or is there another reason the Hearts debt is ten or twenty times higher than that owed to other Scottish clubs? Who would benefit from the published debt being HIGHER than it really is?

    KTID

I'd have thought it's because they are buying Wallace on HP. The next installment isn't due yet, but that doesn't mean that they don't owe the money in the long run.

That's why they are talking about money they are due on transfers writing off money they are due to pay etc

  4. Underbidding for Scottish players at other clubs? shurely shome mishtake. More chuckles if it turns out that, for instance Lafferty, is punted on for 500k. The great irony is that when they were babbling on about 2 million for Goodwillie, they may as well have outbid Blackburn seeing they`d no intention of actually paying oustanding fees for players. Could have bid 4 million, paid 500k up front, the rest in installments and add ons and fucked us over like Hertz with Lee Wallace! Dodged a bullet there I think.

Eddie Thompson - told Romanov to f*ck off.

Stephen Thompson - told Rangers to f*ck off.

    Two great men.

  5. I did and could not believe the hypocrisy. They both defended themselves saying their job was to report football stories and not business stories and that business editors should be investigating murky financial dealings. When was the last time Sportsound only featured football stories? Every fuckin night they talk about business stories relating to Rangers. So make up your minds lads. If its football only you report then stick to football only.

Presumably the political and religious editors should have been writing about the sectarianism, etc too.

    These poor football writers...

  6. It bothers me greatly. He is paid by the tax funded BBC, the organisation that spends millions promoting it's world wide news service as the last bastion of impartiality, so it is his duty to ask questions to help reveal the truth.

His failure to do this doesn't just show him up to be the snivelling little rat that he is but also highlights the BBC's failure to carry out it's tax funded purpose and reveal what they and the whole of the Glasgow, and probably Scottish, media undoubtedly knew.

The BBC are as guilty as sin as being part of what is a major institutional cover up of the goings on at Ibrox and shows how rotten to the core the public and private sector corridors of power in Scotland are.

I don't know if you listened to Sportsound last night, but if you did, you would have heard Chico and Roddy Forsyth blaming the Business Editors, saying that it wasn't the job of football journos to look into the business side.

  7. So let me get this right.........

Can we now all shaft each other?

If thats the case is it now legal for me to keep my mate's car that he gave me whilst he's on holiday and only give him back the air freshener? :)

    No.

My understanding is that he would have to agree to that deal. If he doesn't, you need to go and get the car scrapped and rebuilt as a newcar, which could use the same number plates and VIN numbers, and then tell him to f*ck off.
