1. 'And Smith must score...!' :D

Useless cnut couldnt even get that right

His fuckwitted statement that 'Rangers are a massive institution' just underlines again what a cock this man is

Shall we try this again?

Rangers were a bigger than average football club, granted

Rangers no longer exist

Sevco are a new company, and will be a new club

Sevco therefore need to start where every other new club starts - the bottom rung of the professional ladder (at best)

Sevco currently have approximately 5 players (guesstimate - I readily admit I have no idea how many kids they might have)

Nobody has any idea if Sevco will make it through the first difficult financial year

Nobody knows how many 'Rangers' fans will support Sevco

Nobody knows how successful Sevco might be - or might not

Sevco are not therefore a massive institution

Sevco are no different to every other club in SFL3 - regardless of potential size or potential future success

Finally, if Sevco do come out of this, and their fanbase reduces to the small proportion of genuine football fans that we know do exist on the fringes of the sectarian lunacy, I hope that their true fans enjoy a taste of what football actually should be about - enjoyable days out, banter (not evil bigoted hate-filled invective, but genuine intelligent light-hearted joking), the chance to spend time with mates and finally, and most-importnantly, a true sense of anticipation about the game and the result. If New Rangers can achieve this, and Scottish football reorganises to stop us playing the same teams every fortnight, and their genuine fans get their voice back and our football clubs start playing young, cheap Scottish players then this Summer might just turn out to be the saviour of Scottish football, far from its Armageddon.

Oh, and just one more time...

f**k OFF SMITH

2. Archie macweetabix says rangers will survive because they have a large and dynamic fan base,

I really really don't get this part of the Rangers (shit that is still a hard habit to break) sorry Sevco apologists argument...

...If their support is that large, that dynamic...how the f**k did they go to the wall in the first place????????

Oh..oops..sorry...forgot - they're glory hunting bassas who don't want to know when the going gets tough. How much did the RFFFFFFFFF raise again?

Ibroke is a big old place to run on a few thousand diehards every fortnight....I seriously cannot see how they survive this. Green's not likely to be chucking in his own cash is he?

Time to press 'delete'

When a person is declared bankrupt because they cannot pay their debts do they remain the same person or do they get issued with a new identity ?

Generally what happens when a person is made bankrupt they are refused the opportunity to benefit from such loans again.

They have to start again in order to build up a decent record of managing their funds. If they can keep their nose clean for a period of some years they may eventually be allowed the same access as others...

I wonder...does that process ring any bells with you at the moment?

4. What is all the pish about RANGERS and EBTs'?

Dont you know that Rangers have been found guilty of NOTHING yet , that means, for the dull /ignorant/daft among you, (i.e. most), that they are still officially INNOCENT - its called legal due process in case you didn't know . Im sure at least some of you will be acquainted with the justice system as 'the accused' but you maybe didnt realise that presumption of innocence is the rule.

You really cant make up sanctions based on what might happen- these kind of things get you into the Court of Session- Thats maybe something you will maybe hear more of in the coming weeks and months.

Still that doesn't stop anyone on this forum making Rangers guilty, although the logic of 'if you say it often enough' seems to hold sway here, rather than looking at facts. But its ony Rangers so it doesn't count eh? Wouldn't like to be on trial with you on a jury.

This must rank as the most historical period in your Clubs' histories with fans posting one- handed in their bedrooms for almost 5 months(Jeez you must have blisters) - but seeing as most of you dont have much to be historical about I suppose its only natural to seize/grasp any opportunity.

When the records are being written in a few years how many of you will still be there to be included? Hearts , Hibs ,maybe Dundee Utd, Celtic obviously ,but after that ................?????

Maybe if you supported your SPL teams with the same energy as you save for hating the Rangers then you might not be heading for extinction, but having said that with the numbers you turn up in for your home games it might look as if you are nearly in extiction already. You are kid-ons. FFS we can draw more for a Protest outside the main stand on a Thursday night.

Blue Square teams are better supported. Pollok and Petershill have had more in the Junior Cup than some of you get for SPL gates.

FFS look at Dumfermline- when they didnt get their split of the Scottish Cup Receipts they put their players on reduced wages in a matter of days , how many of the rest are going down that route now?

Tell you what guys, make sure you buy those Season Tickets -as you are duty bound to do now after blackmailing your own clubs , but having said that maybe you should be buying 2 each to compensate for when Celtic fans boycott your grounds ,after your clubs try to force new voting system changes through.

Keep that money rolling into your Clubs guys- Real fans dont mind doing that.- It might look like a total waste of money seeing as how you will still win f*"k all ,but you should be comforted in the knowledge that Sporting Integrity is never cheap.

I will be keeping my eyes open for your teams on their way down (or maybe out)and be sure that we will be standing by to lend a hand- You know, it will be like a breath of air to be away from you after being in the lavvy that is the SPL.

Still the stench of hypocricy and cowardice wont be noticable to any of your clubs seeing as how they all smell the same.

A silly thought to leave you with...What if your Clubs have been ripping the pish out of you just get the Season Ticket money and then they go right ahead and re-admit Rangers to the SPL using some crazy excuse such as Legal Issues? - will it be too late to get a refund? It would be a shame to have spent your benefits and not be able to get the money back.

It probably wont happen but who can tell in these difficult economic times.?

Excuse me, but would you be a Daily Record journalist by any chance?

Just struggling to think of any other way an educational sub-normal like you might get hold of a computer keyboard...

For years I have been hoping that Kilmarnock would buckle under financial pressure (not very nice, I know). In a massive u-turn I now hope that Kilmarnock will, at the very least, keep their heads above water financially. I would hate Kilmarnock to hit the skids for fear that such a scenario would be followed by a media backlash to the effect that it has all been caused by the demise of Rangers. I hate the 'Scottish football needs a strong Rangers' argument and sincerely hope that any club's future misfortune does not cause the media to come out with this.

Ah...but doesn't Ayrshire football need a strong KIllie? No? Ok then.

wink.gif

I cant believe it has come to this but after much heartache and soul searching i have decided not to re-new my season ticket. I will pick and choose my games from now on. After talking to a couple of mates over the weekend i am seriously thinking of going to away games and staying away from Ibrox. I don't mind any businessman making a profit but if the rumours of Green wanting between £17-£20 million for the club are true then i am finished with it...I wont give The Rangers 1 more penny!!

Listening to all the other consortiums talking about giving the club back to the fans. Are they serious? Have they never met My fat friend..Dingwall? The thought of him and his cronies running The Rangers makes my blood run cold.

Sad sad day and not a decision i have taken lightly. Now i have to tell my son and not looking forward to that as it is the 1 thing we do exclusively together..It has always been our time away from the women in the family.

No 8 - you've achieved the impossible...I actually feel sorry for a 'The Rangers' fan! I hope that you enjoy the football, camaraderie and laughs on the journey from SFL 3

I remember when KIllie went down to the bottom tier, and I went to most away games, it was huge fun, and getting away days at grounds I had never been to before actually made following KIllie much more of a pleasure than it had been in a long time.

As an exiled KIllie fan who goes to matches with my 7 year old, I would also say that away games are much more fun as father-son time...

Finally I think you are right to 'walk away' from ibrox...the club you followed is now dead and being picked over by the shadiest bunch of crooks imaginable....again! In a couple of years you might have a new team to follow and the sectarian bigot element might have disappeared into whichever hole they crawled from in the first place, and a newco under proper management might even be enjoying its football and you can look people in the eye as you attempt to fairly win football matches.

Let's hope so at least

7. 1341091942' post='6389704']

Yeah sorry (but I did edit it immediately) ... I was laughing so hard it was difficult to concentrate and type ... I mean a Killie fan talking about no identity.

Celtic are a global brand with supporters worldwide (and various nationalities) .. so what exactly do Killie have?

The only one that matters ya tosspot...our local one!

Celtic may well have an international brand (and if that's the sort of thing that gets you excited then you're already halfway to being a Cockwomble) but football clubs are really supposed to be about their community...But if it's more important to you that some poor sod in south Korea has heard of the mighty Celtic then you just jog right along...

Of course we all know what result lies at the end of chasing that particular rainbow don't we????

8. 1341089366' post='6389583']

By the way, can I just congratulate everyone on this thread (again)!

It's clear that this is the definative place to be if you want to know what's goin on. I've said it before, if this situation had arisen years ago, before the Internet, we'd all be at the mercy of the MSM feeding us bullshit every day.

There are some very very knowledgable guys (and gals?) on this thread, and I'd urge every one of you to continue the fight.

The authorities, for the first time EVER, know there is NOWHERE they can hide. We, as in the fans, are on to them, and I guarantee they've never felt so under pressure.

VIVA LA REVOLUTION!!!

The very fact that PnB was referred to explicitly several times in off the ball and sportsound makes this ever clearer. Was also good to have a PnB representative as a guest on the radio too...maybe we actually are the people!!!!

I also loved Turnbulls explicit references to Diddy clubs in his interview!

9. Ok...I am no defender of Celtic fans usually god knows, but if we are trying to maintain a stance that we are determined to see the other cheek punished for their misdeeds and not just out of sheer malice then I struggle to see them in the same light. As far as I know they've not broken the law, cheated the taxman, cheated their way to loads of trophies or threatened to boycott the rest of the English speaking world because they are the people or any other such nonsense. So although I can continue to find them every bit as distasteful I suppose I should try to do so on another thread so as to keep the focus of this one as clear as we can?

Can we concentrate on making sure the blue orcs get their just desserts from this whole sham first?

Then we can turn our new found diddy solidarity on the green cheek...

10. 1341075104' post='6389043']

Totally agree, with the exception of the highlighted bit. There is legislation which prevents a liquidated company trading as a name similar enough to their old name in such a way as consumers may confuse the two (unless the name has a geographical nature, which isn't the case here). It would have the added benefit of driving home the point through thick Orc skulls that rangers are DEAD. Whatever turns out in the league next year, at whatever level, will NOT be rangers. No debts, no punishment of behaviour before liquidation, no dealing with debts including football debts, and NO HISTORY. They cannot be allowed to have their cake and eat it.

From businesslink.gov.uk:

Reuse of a company name after liquidation

Prohibited names and restrictions

If a business uses a prohibited name, there are restrictions on who is allowed to be involved in the running of that business.

A prohibited name is a name by which a liquidated company was known at any time in the 12 months immediately before its liquidation. This can be any of the following:

• the name registered at Companies House
• the company's trading name
• any name so similar to either of the above that it suggests an association with the liquidated company

The restrictions apply personally to you if you were registered as a director - or acted as a director - during the 12 months leading up to the liquidation.

What are the restrictions?

You - and any other former directors - are banned from being a director of a limited company that's using a prohibited name for five years from the date of the original company's liquidation. The ban includes not being allowed to take part in the formation, promotion or management of such a company.

The restrictions also extend to a business that is not a limited company - eg a partnership or sole trader - that's using a prohibited name. In such a case, any relevant former directors are banned from being concerned in or taking any part in carrying on such a business for five years.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Please note - the reference to "directors", when applied to a football club, was deemed in the SFA case to include "shadow directors" such as the team manager, who have input into business expenditure and strategy. So that's Sally out the door, then.....

I would love to see that name, and with it all the sectarian, unpleasant, bigoted, arrogant connotations that go with it, consigned to the cesspit it belongs in.But despite the fact that I had kind of assumed at the outset that they would not be able to use the name without some clear changes or additions (Govan Rangers?) I haven't seen it suggested anywhere that they will be forced to ditch it. What are to chances realistically and who would force it through? Isn't the trading name of the company different to the name of the club?

11. I have a question which no doubt has been answered but it's too difficult to search.

Did Rangers actually PAY any of their fines?

If not, then the ONLY punishment has been the points deduction.

I assumed not - that's why I didn't include it in my rant.

I always thought it was daft to fine a club who have no way of paying the fine.

Surely a hollow punishment if ever there was one?

12. I got very fed up with that tit Alexander - who was irritating enough to be an MP even if he wasn't.

First sticking up for Cockwomble - Just a decent guy trying his best apparently!

Then going on about Rangers punishment. FFS is it really that hard to get into their skulls?

In simple sentences then (yet again I know);

Rangers were punished by a ten point penalty for going into admin as per the rule book.

Rangers then went bust and are in the process of being wound up, liquidated, extinguished, rubbed oot

A new company is being formed.

If that new company wants to have a football team to play at Ibrox, fine.

If that company wants to have players in blue jerseys, fine.

If that company wants to have the word Rangers in their title, annoying, but fine

But that company needs to find a league to play in.

They need to apply to the SFL (at the highest...even that application would involve expediency and hasty rewriting of rules)

There is no rule in the SFL that allows for them to jump into SFL 1. None. Clyde have made that even clearer with their excellently worded release

So they need to start again from the beginning, whatever they are called, whoever play for them, wherever they play

That is not punishment, that is PROCESS.

And to be fair, even Rangers fans seem to be overwhelmingly understanding this.

Just fuckit journalists who cannot compute!

13. The major danger now is that all the Orcs and Berrs who had just about accepted SFL3 for next season will be pumped fu o adrenaline (or worse) and demand no punishment, membership of the SPL as a right, a place in Europe (cos Motherwell wid jist waste it, anywey) and expect to win the SPL next season, and we've got to got through the whole rigmarole again of persuading our Chairmen to vote "No", cos they'll fera if they vote for expulsion, they'll have bricks through the windows to deal with. And breathe.

Yep...that's how I see the next few weeks too

But on any rational (ha!) interpretation of the situation should still be that Rangers are liquidated, a new phoenix company needs to start over from scratch, should still not be in the SPL, would still struggle to attract top players.

Its still down to the SPL chairmen to hold their nerve...are you listening Mr Johnston?

14. So all these wonderful Rangers men with all their money, they conveniently show up AFTER the liquidation. I can only imagine the bank was so busy that they couldn't get the cash together in time to actually save the club they profess to love.....

How long will it be before they then stipulate that their involvement is conditional on RFC12 being kept in the SPL with no sanctions? And then Saint Walter's involvement will really drive the media to demand that this happens, hence more pressure on the chairmen for the vote - whenever that is now.

Cue The Cockwomble's arrival on the scene!

This is like Groundhog Day

15. Now that Green and his cronies have successfully managed to get the club liquidated and the debts suddenly become someone else's problem, Rangers 2012 surely becomes a more attractive proposition? Regardless of whatever punishment gets handed down, there has to be some potential there for a new owner.

Imagine the conversation...'We only now need someone to figurehead us so that the morons fans will welcome us with open arms and the players might stay?

I sniff a shitty plan from day one

Was Wattie not implicated in any EBT wrongdoing?

16. The SPL, then the SFL, neither known for speedy decision making, are quickly running out of time to 'deal' with the newco Rangers situation IMHO. It's eight weeks on Saturday until the SPL & League Cup starts, with the SFL kicking-off the following weekend yet we're, what? A week away from the SPL making a decision? I don't think anyone can say with confidence Rangers will be in a situation to compete in (and complete) ANY competition next season.

Forget relegation to the Third Division - whatever the proceedural mechanism (via the SFA?), the best thing going forward in the short-term would be to suspend newco Rangers from all competition next season.

The longer this drags on, the more the uncertainty effects every league club in Scotland. Invite applications to join the Third Division for season 12/13 and leave those in Govan to sort their own mess out without it impacting on Scottish football.

This is a very good point. With lots still apparently to come out about the extent of the cheating and every chance that an entire squad of professional footballers will walk out to other jobs before the start of the season there has to be a real danger that Govan Disunited might not be in a position to fulfil fixtures until the whole farce has played out. That would cause yet more huge negative impact on the game, whichever division they're in, and would make our game look even more of a joke than it already does...

17. 1338145318' post='6278441']

If you lot banked with BOS and had committed to the contracts for the white elephant to be built maybe Murray was asked to repay a favour.

It certainly looks like Mr Johnston has not forgotten that day by his press statements re Rangers.

Or maybe we just won a football match?

We know rangers have cheated, so I can kind of understand posters speculating about wherever their scummy tentacles might have reached, but until we start to hear about whatever this 'nuclear' revelation is we are simply adding 2 +2 and getting 1690. Speaking personally i really don't know how I would be able to take any thought that we only stayed up that year because rangers somehow fixed it for us...

Mr Johnston unfortunately is a tit. I do not for one second believe that this is for any other reason than that he is a walking mammary and not because he is somehow linked to the great rangers conspiracy.mad.gif

18. 1338137562' post='6278000']

Can we end the Killie stuff and continue laughing at Rangers please guys?

I've said all I've got to say.

Always happy to laugh at rangers. But the thread does seem to be turning more and more to posts about reconstruction, life in the spl without rankers, and what our clubs might look like once the scumbags have gone off to the great flute parade in the sky! I'm taking that as a sign that confidence is rising that they might just be about to get what is coming to them after all!

I do think our chairman is not being very clever in his comments just now. If the blue bigots do go for a few years then I certainly expect him to have a plan for dealing with whatever cuts in income follow that and not just to moan about it. I'd assume that anyone with any business experience will have heard of contingency planning. If he hasn't done that at least with regard to relegation then he shouldn't be in the job.

19. 1338136493' post='6277935']

Am I wrong you owe £8m? I apologize if so.

2 places for a pint and a hotel eh, useful getting yourselves into so much debt for.

Killie probably haven't been debt free in the last 17 years maybe more.

Once you eventually pay it all off you will have a stadium that's 4X the size of the Killie support (4500) and a hotel, was it worth it?

I may be wrong but I think the hotel and sports bar actually make a wee profit for the club? Don't get me wrong I'm looking forward to killie having no debt, but we accept that we are a selling club so will need to keep selling players at a profit. Don't ever see that changing and don't mind it tbh

No argument that the ground is too big for current fan base, however I do remember when we were getting higher gates than we now do when we were in the lower leagues (we've spent far too much time there to be snobby about any of the clubs in those divisions...apart from a*r of course wink.gif)

Our gates are really down to the boredom of playing the same team 4 times a year and the general economic situation in killie. A better league, a team of local youngsters holding their own and maybe a wee bit of economic good news and maybe our attendances would go back to being decent.

We can but dream!

20. @Daily_Record: SPL: Rangers can be stripped of tainted titles, says SPL boss Neil Doncaster http://t.co/gldAmtph

First it's the daily record

Second the cockwomble said what?

Hmmmm...and within the same article it says that Rangers could get in scot free as a newco, could get a CVA agreed but might not, could agree terms with HMRC but haven't yet, Wednesday's meeting could vote on sanctions but might not., Rangers might be in trouble with FIFA, UEFA but might not...

Same shite different day...nobody has a clue what is going on, least of all those useless Admin twats...

This is a typical Retard article; "Er...we haven't a scooby whits happening but here are a load of slightly connected quotes to make it look like we do"

All we can do is keep hoping that natural justice takes it course.

I do like the photo of the sun setting over the Gates of Mordor though!
