  1. Very small time behaviour. Befitting of a club of this stature.
  2. Decent point, terrible game, McLean’s a w**k, Ferrie is class. Onwards.
  3. We have to beat this mob at some point, surely?
  4. https://www.glasgowtimes.co.uk/news/scottish-news/24115878.glasgow-football-clubs-benefit-almost-5m-investment/
  5. While we’re doing new contracts, we should be trying to stick another year on his.
  6. Might be hyperbole on my part, but that might have been Dom Thomas’ best game in a QP jersey yesterday and that’s a fairly high bar. Thought he was outstanding from start to finish.
  7. Did Dunfermline announce the away attendance? Always hard to estimate when you’re sitting in it.
  8. That was fucking beautiful. A silly game that hooks you onto the floor and then punts you into the sky. Lovely stuff.
  9. Arbroath by a million miles. Length of journey perfect for a decent drink, the pub/bowling club when you get there, the stadium, the backdrop, the steak and black pudding pies and the locals are pretty sound. Ayr in second. Love Somerset Park and a generally good day out. Only ones I don’t really enjoy are Airdrie and Morton.
  10. Only going on that stats page. Good load of U21 and EFL jobber cup games, but no mention of a loan.
  11. Major alarm bell for me is that someone has gotten to 21 years old and has never played in a meaningful senior game. Not even a loan spell.,
  12. Nobody is having a pop at the boy, but we have all seen a similar synopsis before. Attack minded young player from bigger club, highly rated. Hasn’t ended well once during the pro era. It does have a whiff of “oh f**k, we desperately need to get literally anyone in.”
  13. Queens’s Park Completely mental behaviour on January 31
  14. A relegation dogfight at the bottom of the Championship isn’t an attractive prospect for players with a decent pedigree. January is hellish for doing decent business at the best of times. Nobody to blame but ourselves, I’m afraid.
  15. The only way guys like Healy or Williamson have a sniff of a chance of making it is by going and playing somewhere every week. Jumping from the juniors to the Championship, to then sit on the bench is the perfect recipe for stagnation.
  16. I’m not prone to slaughtering refs because what’s the point? However, that’s absolutely brutal. Every single point could be the difference between us staying in this league or not. You cannot get a decision as simple as that wrong. We can look at the wall etc. as well, but the referee has to do his job properly there. Should be a demotion or a couple of weeks sitting out for that one.
  17. The QPSA contacted the Safety and Security Manager. New committee member also took it forward.
  18. Good stuff. Better for both sets of fans. Fair play to the club for engaging and listening. Hopefully a sign of things to come.
  19. We papped them down there on the Saturday as well. Ayr will bring at least as many. This is what sort of pisses me off from a home fan perspective. We seem to have invested heavily in every area of the club, except for average punters. Spending exorbitant amounts on a royal box and investment in hospitality and then telling the plebs it’s too expensive to hire a few more stewards and open some more kiosks. It sort of says it all, really. In terms of the North Stand, I’ve actually long thought this even going back to the League Two days. Couldn’t have a more natural segregation line and the view of the game for every single punter would be so much better. I’m sure there are £££ reasons for why that hasn’t or won’t happen, though.
  20. On the segregation thing, I’ve never had any issue at all with Ayr fans, or indeed most other sets of fans, but it’s probably better for them if they’re down the other end as well for a marginally better view. Better for our fans who don’t want to spend half an hour in a queue at half-time as well. Having to open more of the ground = more cost, which is probably what this is about. Segregation, but everyone congregating at the same bit at half-time has never made a huge amount of sense to me. Over the years, Ayr have always brought one of the bigger supports to Hampden, so it doesn’t really make sense to me that we put Dunfermline in the east section and not them.
