  1. Was just saying that at the game yesterday. When FB is busy like that, it's a terrific place to watch football. An example of a modern(ish) ground done well.
  2. There was four minutes between the winning goal and the restart, bizarrely. Add that to all the subs and Falkirk players falling to the ground every time a breath of air came close, and I'm surprised there wasn't more!
  3. By the way, why was Calvin Miller on the bench for Falkirk yesterday? Tore us a new one at TFS and looked dangerous every time he had the ball in the 2nd half. Would have thought he would be a surefire starter. Coming back from injury or just tactical?
  4. That was us for a lot of last season, particularly in the 2nd half of the season.
  5. Unfortunately, he's only on loan from Motherwell, but been a great signing so far.
  6. Jack Leitch was booked for the foul that led to the winning goal.
  7. That's Falkirk fans for you. Unless you're comparing them to peak Brazil, they get awfy upset.
  8. Aye, should have saved it. Was pretty much faultless the rest of the game. Although he has a tendency to chance his luck when kicking the ball out. One time in particular today he was well outside the box. He'll need to watch that.
  9. Deserved win for Falkirk, although we competed quite well in the 2nd half, gutting to lose to an individual error. The referee was abysmal all game (for and against both sides), shocking display of officiating. Still think Accies are the best side I've seen this season, but Falkirk not far off. Both teams head and shoulders above anyone else in this league, as they should be really. On a final note, a missed opportunity to scout new talent from the British Olympic Diving team today. A few of the Falkirk players would surely have been in the running for a medal!
  10. Looking forward to this today. Everything points to a win for Lolkirk today, they really should beat us, but one thing I've learned in 40+ years of following the Albion is to expect the unexpected. To that end, I have absolutely no idea what will happen. Which is nice. Would love a draw or a cheeky wee 1-0 win with an offside goal, anything really to rattle the natives on here. But it's one of our 'free hits' today, so a defeat won't be too damaging. As long as it's not a hounding. Saw too many of them against this lot at FB over the years!
  11. Neither did I until very recently and I've been going to FB since it opened
  12. Getting the 'we would have beat you if it wasn't for the wind' excuse ready for tomorrow night.
  13. Go down to the bus station and wait for the park and ride bus, every 15 mins, free, and drops you off right at the ground. Saves yer legs and yer wallet.
  14. Aye, but I'm not shouting about how massive we are. It's not difficult.
  15. I'm trying to work out how Türkiye have already qualified. I must be missing something obvious If Croatia and Wales both win their last two games (with Wales beating Türkiye by a 3-goal or more margin), then all three sides finish on 16 points, and both Croatia and Wales beat the Turks in the head-2-heads.
  16. Good day yesterday, but our tendency to have more than one drink at a lot of the stops meant I simply ran out of time, so had to bail at St Georges X to catch the last train back to Stirling. So near, and yet so far.
  17. Which, according to Mike Dean in his argument with that p***k Merson, is something they are not allowed to do. IT'S THE LAW!!!!
  18. John McGinn's account of this is pretty damning, and he's nothing to gain or lose by lying about it. If the ref HAS told him he's chalked off the goal for a foul (and ALL the evidence points to this), then it's a MAJOR blunder by the VAR team, or whoever it was who confirmed it was given for offside instead.
  19. This is not a signal for offside. It's that simple.
