Well that did not age well. Updated for Season 2023/24. Not much to report on the average league placings, St Mirren get a second top 6 and first Euro qualifying campaign since the 80's, but as they are a modest lot they'll stay classy and keep it on the downlow. Dundee gain their first top 6 and it only took <checks notes> a £2.8m reported loss to fund it. Hearts cement 3rd helped by their Euro group stage money and it has left Motherwell fans ranging that UEFA didn't kick Russia out when they annexed Crimea in 2014 and we were last consistently good. That extra £5m helps hoover up the best of the SPFL's diddy teams to improve the squad depth since they'll have 6? Europa group games while we all play glorified friendlies in the diddy cup. Hearts have also closed the gap to Aberdeen to 13 league places which could result in a new overall second place team by 2027/28ish if the current annual gap continues. Killie are only 7 behind Hibs now. My own team bobs along 4th overall with big enough gaps to Hearts and from Hibs that it shouldn't change much for a while. ICT will be jumped over by Dundee and St Mirren due to the best they can hope for is a 23rd. Next season should be interesting, with favourable Euro draws and getting their shit together early on St Mirren and Killie could have a nice war chest to help fund signings. St Johnstone have new investment, Motherwell could find themselves with that also. Surely Hibs and Aberdeen can't underperform again? Only Accies have now to get a top six on this list but did gain promotion to the Championship. Roll on season 2025/26. Serial bridesmaid's The Cinch Fan Club happy about Cinch ending their deal early but not in bottling the league after Celtic tried their best to bottle it in mid-winter. WTF was the Santa thing all about?

Dundee game has been postponed. How does this work now? You choose another? If Aberdeen get beat do we have to wait till whatever midweek is agreed to get the result for this weekend? If Dundee lose that game what happens? If Aberdeen win do you pick other games provisionally in Wk9 onward but could already be pied when Dundee play the rearranged fixture? One for @Poet of the Macabre

You'd imagine the it would be pro rata so for 60% of the agreed funds 3 years ago, the finders fee Doncaster paid still stays at £500k or whatever it was, so that £100k that was absorbed every year is now £165k in reality taken away from the game. Colossal mismanagement, why they employed an intermediary is an eye opener, why it was for so much money is mind boggling.
