Going by the way some of the folk are going on about Todser's transfer fee, they should apply for the next series of the apprentice. - they'd fit right in. -

This thread has taken a rather sinister turn that is not one bit funny - not because of the fact it's aimed at my club, it's just crass, juvenile and pathetic. -

Cutting edge lacking? 72 goals scored, a goal difference of +31 and a points total of 67 would suggest otherwise. How's Fife's second team doing this year? -

This is like a competition to see who gets the bragging rights to having the smallest willy. With Scary Bear, Gav FFC and Vikington it's hard to reckon who'll win. -

Toby he did use the word "possibly" which is roughly translated as "I don't have a fucking clue what I'm talking about and just made this shit up" -

The court may grant an interim order allowing the club to go in to administration which pending the outcome of HMRC's protestations through the courts to have the club liquidated can then be made absolute. -

I've no idea but given his loans to Dunfermline and the way the whole thing's structured and the fact they're going for voluntary admin I'd be surprised if he he doesn't have some security to put him at the front of the queue. If you work in commercial banking your bonus could probably buy the pars. -

Secured creditor status is given to creditors who have legals security over a company's assets in return for giving credit. Eg your mortgage is given by the bank on the basis that they have security over your house. Given the money Masterton has loaned the Pars I'd be surprised if he hasn't securitised the loans somehow. Craig Whyte was a secured creditor at Rangers and the voluntary administration suited him at the time. -

Presumably voluntary administration is a ploy by Masterton to secure his position as majority shareholder and biggest creditor with perhaps secured creditor status. All of course meaning that the process will be run in his favour and he'll likely get so many pence in the pound rather than lose the lot through liquidation. -

Not quite sure what power Longmuir has to do anything until such times as Dunfermline go bust. Until they are declared by a court to be insolvent anything else would be interfering in the club's commercial activities. The time for action was years ago when they should've had financial fair play rules put in place with proper checks on who were running our clubs and how. -

Perhaps what he is saying is that the club is so fucked that an administrator couldn't trade his way out of the mess and the only option would be to wind up? -

Yes there is a nice account in Switzerland you can pay in to. -

An administrator is court appointed and will undertake the administration role so long as they can be sure they'll get their fee. As much as it's difficult not to, I wouldn't worry too much about passing deadlines. The only deadline that counts is one minute before the winding up order is passed and seen through. Artificial deadlines are set as a form of brinksmanship and even when one party walks way, often another comes to the table. This was the case at Morton. The only thing that concerns me about Dunfermline is the apparent lack of action by the fans and an over reliance or faith in the steering group to deliver. There must be enough professional skill and expertise within the support to organise a fighting group and put proper alternative business proposals forward and put together a contingency plan in the event of a worst case outcome. There are also plenty of previous examples from which the Pars fans can draw on experience and goodwill from other fans who've been through it. -
