  1. It just couldn't happen anywhere else, could it? Sense, reason and indeed prescribed articles just utterly discarded in favour of the misheld belief that Scottish football needs a strong The Rangers and the financial benefits of their sectarian rivalry with their opposite cheek. How a man who has been convicted of tax fraud in South Africa and was also complicit in tax skulduggery and the liquidation of the previous incarnation of The Rangers can be considered fit and proper is beyond me (although, as Pozbaird put it elsewhere, he's 'fit and proper for those c*nts'). The ruling body is every bit as corrupt as has been previously suggested; this is nothing short of an absolute disgrace on the game in Scotland (and I wonder if Fifa won't have something to say on this). I will be interested to see if the fawning media just roll over and get their tummies tickled again or if anyone actually pursues the SFA for the true rationale involved in this bizarre ruling. Either way, I'm satisfied that this will not end well; King has too much form as a corporate scumbag for The Rangers to survive his chairmanship.
  2. The cringe is indeed strong with this one. What an utterly and relentlessly pathetic way to go about your lives.
  3. Have I missed something, or has everyone else? What about resolution 1B: ...the release of RFC from the current restrictions preventing it from being able to provide security over the Ibrox stadium without the prior consent of Sports Direct... I wasn't aware that was part of the deal - I knew that Ibrox couldn't be provided as security for a number of rumoured reasons (i.e. it doesn't seem entirely certain who legally holds the deeds) but I didn't know about this contingency. Maybe this can come out in the EGM? Either way, it seems clear that Cashley has called the bluff like most here knew he would at some stage. Again, he's got a win-win; one way, he gets his money back and gets the hell out of dodge after a nice bit of asset stripping and, irrespective of whether he gets his money back, he publically embarrasses the board for the mob of utter shysters that they are while retaining the iron grip on the revenue streams.
  4. This is one of the many reasons I simply cannot stand these b*stards. The sanctimony is astounding, that Rhys McCabe was in some way derisory in wanting to pursue his career anywhere else than at Rangers. These chumps simply do not realise that, by not TUPEing across to the new company, they've not been complicit in the further financial ruination of The Rangers. I wonder - if, indeed, many of these keyboard warriors are gainfully employed - they would themselves sacrifice their earning potential for a number of years simply to gain the respect of a mass of people they will never know. In almost the same breath they turn on one of the club 'heroes', Lee McCullough, for being shite (as everyone else has known for a very long time) and staying too long! Those vaunted Rangers virtues of loyalty and respect seem a bit hollow in this instance, do they not?
  5. Arguing-Endlessly-Over-Quotes-No-one-Cares-About-Made-By-Fellow-Bigot-Regarding-Referendum-From-Months-Ago-And-In-So-Doing-Ruining-This-Thread forum for this pish. Could you two not just keep it to hissy PMs and stop the one-upmanship on this thread please? It is galactically tedious for human adults to carry on in this fashion.
  6. * You've followed your succession of clubs for 35 years plus, yet still can't help yourself from placing an asterisk in the word Celtic, thereby suggesting it is a sweary word. And you accuse others of childish obsessions. Jesus wept, you just don't get it do you? I, for one, am certainly not obsessed, but more enjoy the occasional dip back in here to see what you triumphalist dafties have come up with next. And you never, ever disappoint me.
  7. ^^^ Still not getting why everyone's enjoying the journey so much
  8. Seems like a fairly silly assumption to make by someone with access to the internet and/or common sense* *delete as is obviously applicable
  9. One less OF walloper on an otherwise regularly entertaining thread. I'm sure we'll survive.
  10. I cringe when fans of a liquidated clumpany brand fans of other clubs diddies when in fact there is no-one more diddy than themselves.
  11. This is an outstanding development. It might all be making the evidence fit the crime in a fit of OF hyperbole, but the impression is that good ol' Mike is definitely calling the tune up there. Long may it remain the case if so.
  12. Entirely agree. And, to boot, your best post for a long time. Rangers are being killed by the very 'culture' they celebrate, so closely entwined is their sectarian supremacy with the primal belief that they are in some and every way by definition superior to anyone who doesn't celebrate them. If this culture had been achieved without financially doping then it's bad enough; that the last two decades of success were very much built on clay readily demonstrates why they are so utterly and comprehensively mocked today.
  13. That's kind of the point. Remember, at the time, Clipboard Kenny was in 'control' (i.e. being told what to do by the Ashley-dominated board). Ashley probably - and very wisely so - saw his regime coming to an end so did as much to put liability onto any new administration as he could, hence the IP transfer and the simply ludicrous loan arrangement here. Shift one fit player and four crocks to Ibrox? Doesn't matter where the injured players are sitting while both clubs are effectively under Mike's control, but if he was to lose control of Ibrox then it would be a further millstone around the necks of the replacement board.
  14. Can we rename this thread 'Tedious OF c*nts ruin another entertaining thread with facile squabbling' or something more catchy, if that were possible?
  15. Very honourable, but ultimately a meaningless exultation of a culture that never existed in the first place and has been resolutely forgotten since. If such a culture was so strong in the foundations of Rangers then other supporters would give some sort of credit for it; it is, however, little more than cringeworthy lip-service to somehow justify the more unsavoury behaviours of your wider support.
  16. Usual tedious OF dummy-spitters ruining an otherwise entertaining thread. If you want to have an who's-more-offended contest, f*ck off onto Twitter.
  17. My word that's a terrific headline. Most every signing they made since the journey began could claim to have suffered from a disease of the mind.
  18. Why do you cling to this so? Why is it so important that your deceased club held 54 league titles, and your diseased club an additional two? Do you think that it in some way makes the rest of us cower at the brilliance of your chosen team and somehow wish we were you? Are you really seeking to denigrate a team that has absolutely walked the Championship this year while celebrating your own tainted successes? The mindset of the average Rangers fan is so obtuse as to be incomprehensible by the reasonable person it would seem.
  19. Sevco employing free labour for essential works at their crumbling garrison eh? Similar, in many respects, to not paying tradies for work when the last team to play in blue at Ibrox were previously liquidated. Murray and King are consistent, if nothing else. And does work for the unskilled include the current playing staff?
  20. Excellent. I suggest a T-Shirt t with those words emblazoned upon it for your next home game. Could be the start of something big.
  21. Do whatever you and the 'majority' can to stop the fetid, tedious songs about catholic massacre then, will you?
