  1. Why is there age discrimination? Rangers are entirely at liberty to employ whoever they wish conditional on them paying the a wage and deducting tax at source (that's the hard bit) . So you can hire strategists, programme sellers, administrators, media stfaff, EBT spoksesperson - of any age, race creed or colour. You can even sign players on inflated wages and let them sit in the stand - you can sign Stanley Mathews old knickers if you want. The law is clear sign who the hell you want. What you cannot do is register new players during an embargo brought about by your club's own dispicable actions and the systematic evasion of tax. Scottish football far from being discriminatory has no restraint on age - many clubs will be buying players in the forthcoming weeks. You won't because you can't register them because of your own pathetic actions as a club. Aberdeen's manager will be their oldest ever, ther will be veterans and young guns, wee guys and big guys - the SPL will be very diverse in age. It will be land rich in age-diversity. So face up to the actions of RFC and stop blaming everyone else. The bitter irony of a Rangers fan arguing about the legality and unfairness of 'discriminatory signing polices' is not lost on the vast majority of this forum. Found out - time to take the heat.
  2. ...to be entirely accurate they didn't pay for the bus either - a travel company from County Down is in the list of creditors and have yet to be paid for bus hire services prior to a game with Linfield. RFC even cheat their own pals. Gruesome club.
  3. and in the original there was a cheeky hyper-link on the highlighted 'legs' line which led to the three-legged motif of the famous tax haven that is - The Isle of Man? What are they hinting at?
  4. wholehearteldy agree - a near perfect administration long may it wheeze painfully until the last desperate breath is taken - and then bring on the new.
  5. Er not quite No 8. A tax avoidance loophole that has been fundamentally challenged by HMRC as being inappropriately managed, flagarantly misued and featuring concealed payments to high worth individuals, which should have formed part of their taxable player contracts, which then should have been accurately and wholly registered with the SFA under FIFA guidelines and with much great levels of commitmet to transparency, and no shredding machine. Oh and the tax wasn't paid in full but the bill is now with RF(IA). Otherwise a not bad goal with a hint that the shot was slightly sclaffed. Good header-on by Nerlinger. You can almost see the letter of tax-comfort from Sir David Murray jutting out of his shorts. Re enter via 3rd Division thanks.
  6. .....er yes I think I knew that Hector it was part of the joke - hence the over-elaborate smiley. wankeur
  7. Another forum member asked why Rangers (IA) had a bike from Saint-Etienne and whether it had been sold along with the Arseanal shares. I presume it will be sold soon along with other goods and chattels. This is where it was made http://manufrance.wordpress.com/1-manufacture-d%E2%80%99armes-et-cycles-de-saint-etienne/ The company was established at Villebouef, Saint-Etienne, on 10th November 1885, by directors Mimard and Blachon for the manufacture of bicycles under the Hirondelle trade mark. In 1892 four models were offered: the 125 for artisans and workmen, etc and selling at Fr185, the 130 for postmen, bailiffs, road inspectors and messengers at Fr235, the 135 roadster for doctors and commercial travellers at Fr275, and the Superbe at Fr360. All of these were bought-in from the Gautheir Brothers* contrary to the claim in the catalogue to have been manufactured on the premises, and sold at a profit. For those who are not strong on French translations the town of Villebouef means vile-beef as opposed to succulent lamb

  9. This extract from the SFA tribunal made me smile (sorry about spacing) .......That it was unclear to Mr Andrew Dickson, Head of Football Administration, what was the role of Mr Gordon Smith, Director of Football and Executive Director. who was appointed by Mr Craig Whyte on 18 June 2011. No job description or remit for Mr Gordon Smith was ever provided to Mr Andrew Dickson. Mr Andrew Dickson remained entirely unclear as to Mr Gordon Smith’s role or function or in respect of any matter in which he may have been involved in his position..
  10. I was made aware by someone who works at your club. I don't know if they contacted the police. I hope so. I support Scotland but your right that's not really relevant.
  11. Exactly those kind. Indviduals who are anonymous since they did not leave their names. But they made threats against a young man who is on the Board of the SPL. I think people should stick up for him rather than allow intimidation to win out. The meeting that everyone says nothing happend at discussed his predicamnet and confirmed that going forward all clubs will decide, so that the person threatened is not singled out in future. This is the sceond time people trying to make honest decsions on behalf of Scottish football have been threatened. What exactly is slavering about that.
  12. Your chairman was threatened directly and indirectly by individuals who were anonymous and did not leave their names. As a consequence he argued to the SPL that he had no desire to carry the weight of taking on such a key decision with others he proposed that any decsions taken that might in time harm Rangers be taken by all clubs and not just the board. That was what they agreed at the meeting and rightly so. Sticking up: a young man was threatened by morons and had genuine reason to be upset by that. He is an office bearer of St Johnstone your club and I think what happend to him is atrocious and unacceptable and will happily 'stick up' for him as its the decent thing to do, despite being a fan of a club that was once beaten 7-2 on New Year's day, thus leading to your log-in name. Its morally quite simple Steven Brown should never have been threatened and all football fans irrespective of whether they are SJFC or DFC should support his right to take decisions without intimidation.
  13. .....on several ocassions directed to the club you support and via the offices of the SPL. What has he ever done to deserve that and why am I sticking up for him and not you?
  14. The simple answer is that the Chairman of the club you support has been threatened directly and indirectly by fans or represntatives of another more powerful club. Rather than be seen as one of a small group of 'reps' that takes a tough decision against Rangers he feels it should be all clubs that take that decision. Its called collective reponsibility and I agree with him.
  15. The key to this mess is the behaviour of Rangers FC and any urgency is brought about by their desperation to newco into the SPL whilst the other bit - including their founding company and its toxic history is liquidated. It can drag on forever as far as my club is concerned. No urgency round these parts. Go to Spoons for a curry guys.
  16. Yes he came out with a couple of crackers - particularly liked Rangers being a whore that had caught VD after 15 years of promiscuous shagging and tried to blame a toilet seat

  18. Except a New Year derby for your team against Dundee (remember 7-2) is worth a lot more than what is likely to be a 'Tayside' derby between St Johnstone and er... St Mirren. Ross County will surely get ITC, Dundee gets Dundee Utd, Hearts v Hibs, Celtic get whose nearest maybe St Mirren, Motherwell v Killie...okay I admit its crap and flawed already. So it may not complex but its not simple either.
  19. ...and Tayside police are reluctant to sanction Friday night games, and New Year derbies 'tend' to involve 'local' clubs playing each other - Dundee are local to Dundee Utd and St Johstone, not local to say Celtic, so the clock is ticking and its not just down replacing one team's name with another....
  20. Yes no mention that both those clubs completed CVAs though and that comparsions with Rangers are way of (moon) beam. What I really liked was his line about "I've beeen doing some homework..." Er no. You have copied someone else's homework Ally. Trouble is it's wrong. Moral is don't cheat in exams.
  21. Hope he gets his wishes - maybe Killie can loan out a couple of young guys to them toughen them up for the big league. RFC(IA) NEWCO - Diddy Team
  22. Yes 'Off the Ball' about the only Radio Show that regularly nails it - and it supposed to be the piss-take show. Hammered Rangers into the ground today as the rest of the pundits sucked up. MInd you what the connection: Tam Cowan - Motherwell Stuart Cosgrove - St Johnstone Chris Broookmyre - St Mirren maybe its perspective
