I heard mention that June 14th is the date when the SPL will announce the fixtures for the forthing coming season. Does anyone know if the SFL fixtures announced at the same time? If the day when Rangers are liquidated and a newco is formed lands too close to either of these dates then there may not be enough time to sufficiently bend the rules to get them back into the SFL never mind the SPL. If they are still in admin as June 14th approaches then surely the SPL will need assurances that they can fulfil their fixtures for the year.

Looks pretty clear to me... I get the feeling that a great many of these rules were written by the SPL but they never perceiving that they'd ever have to adhere to them. Seems to be a case of "'let's make it up as we go along and hope nobody notices" with some of things that have been said but there are far too many eyes looking at this now. I'd like to think that Doncaster et al are intelligent enough to appreciate the scrutiny that any decision will come under.

Interesting time with the announcement of this. This resignation will surely heighten the profile of the Rangers case down in London. There don't appear to be any potential successors mentioned at the present time but it suggests that the current HMRC team and whoever the new successor is, will be toeing a harder line on future high profile cases.

I've just been playing some FIFA 12 and realised that if they go to division 3, then Rangers won't feature in any league (Fifa only include the SPL) in FIFA 13.
