I’m the clown but your calling for SFA inquiry’s and calling it a dodgy set up? Lmao don’t see what else you were supposed to be implying considering you clearly have a hard on over his past life mistakes.
[emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
Absolutely heads gone livilion00! It’s none of my concern how Livingston run their affairs. I still don’t see why you are wasting what little money you have on a manager, when you appear to an outsider to have one in place. But if you and the other few hundred fans are happy, good luck.
Enjoy your one season in the limelight![emoji106]0 -
Your a absolute nutter mate lmao! SFA inguiry for what? Our assistant made poor life decisions way before he was even associated with livi and has obviously done his time and changed as a person. Was over 10 years ago now. How do you explain signings? So your basically saying that Martindale is funding the clubs signings with ‘drug’ money lol you actually need help if you actually think that.
Dear oh dear. What a clown. No one has suggested any such thing[emoji23][emoji23][emoji23].
I am suggesting that you don’t need a new manager. Martindale is clearly the real manager at Livingston. The so called manager left the club after being promoted. The club announce that a new man will have to keep the back room staff. Martindale is signing players on the clubs behalf. What is the role of Kenny Miller or whoever comes in? Martindale’s signings and back room team. If it goes tits up, what responsibility does the so called manager have? It’s not his team, it’s his ‘assistant’s’ team. Strange set up indeed[emoji23][emoji23]0 -
What do you need a manager for? The convicted drug dealer is your manager. Anyone being brought in is just a front for Martindale. Surely there must be an SFA inquiry into Livingston. How else do you Livingston fans explain all the signings? How can any self respecting manager come in to a club and have no say over signings? Very very dodgy set up. Of course you have a history of dodgy dealings over the years, so no one is remotely surprised

Guarantees the MSM slavering all over your club next season. Likely to be at all games involving Sevco on Sky/BT for analysis. Hard luck Livi
On reflection, it’s the perfect appointment as the drug dealer can continue to manage the club, while the media concentrated on Miller’s views on Sevco. Brilliant deflection from the real issue of Martindale running a football club as puppet master.

Why does The Daily Rangers constantly refer to the lad from Brighton as a star? Am I the only one who has never heard of him?

See this is why the SFA and sfpl are staffed by compete belters. Anyone even slightly linked with one of the evil stepsister gets hounded out and we end up with diddies from east Fife running the game.
As opposed to belters from the Glasgow Bigots plc franchises? I know who I’d prefer0 -
It would be a big step up going to Paisley. Do you think he’s up to it?

Dave King claiming credibility of Scottish football is at stake!! Dave King aka Glib and Shameless. You couldn’t give him a red neck with a blowtorch ????????

Emre Can for me in the sweep

Look, I don’t have any beef with your achievements. They have been spectacular in such a short time. Footballers don’t play for the love of the game though. Your pay structure is based on being a league 1/ Championship side. Players would earn substantially more at Dundee Utd, ICT, Ross County and Falkirk. Hopkin knows all this, so will probably leave on a high. Bad luck for you but I’m sure, unlike Sevco, you’ve enjoyed the journey.

Hamilton have years of experience at that level, mostly on the back of McCarthy and McArthur money. Livingston are already 700k in debt with a fan base of 700. They will have a bigger budget than last year, but that will be offset against higher wages. Can only see it ending in tears again

You seem to be under the misapprehension having a lot of money saves you from relegation.
Hibs had the 4th biggest budget the year they were relegated. County and Partick had the 7th and 8th in the season just past.
Hamilton regularly stay up with a budget dwarfed by those who go down.
St Mirren and Livingston both have an equal chance of staying up, at this moment.
You are being deliberately obtuse young man. I am not saying Livingston are stick ons for the drop. I am saying Hopkin will know that due to financial constraints, he has taken them as far as he realistically can. The only way is down in the long term. Being a Morton fan, he has more to gain going there. Starts from a low base and with new owners and cash, he can get them challenging. At Livingston, it will be a struggle to get players and stay up-1 -
Would be an absolutely shocking lack of ambition if he does go though - let's be serious
Why? Livingston have done brilliantly to get back to back promotions. However, their best players are earning much less than any other team in the top league and indeed most Championships sides. They will lose their better players and will struggle to compete for signings with Falkirk, Dunfermline, ICT etc. I am sure he realises that he had taken them as far as it is possible to go.
The only way you can compete next season would be to go down the route that led to admin before. The other time you were in the top league you spent money like Rangers deceased and look what happened. Hopkin will leave on a high, his reputation intact.0 -
In case you don't get that one, I'm implying that you're also, to some extent, "punching above your weight" by being in the SPL.
Hahaha. St Mirren are a top league side by any measure. Livingston have tried to find a niche in West Lothian, with little enthusiasm from the locals. Remind me again, how many times have you been in administration while chasing the dream?0 -
Morton is a bigger club than Morton? How'd you figure that one out?
Really? Average home support is under 1000. Punching way above your weight0 -
All that really means is more money has been put on him. I know he's a Morton man and everything but I'm sure if he's leaving us it'll be to a bigger club and make the most of his stock being high while it still is.
To be fair, Morton is a bigger club[emoji23]1 -
You sure about that, CB ? We know that Ol’ Googly Eyes is a ‘major’ shareholder but I can’t remember him fronting up for soft loans, for as his expensive QC told the CoS, King is skint.
I thought that Johnston, Park (Pére et Fils), Taylor and Letham were responsible for the soft cash ?
You may be right FP, but the mess surrounding tens of millions of worthless shares makes any attempt to oust King almost impossible.0 -
I wouldn’t think so. Gerrard taking the managers job is enough. Hell, I think sales would have been high regardless of Gerrard getting the job or not.
This is a support where 50k turn up to watch 4th tier games with sh*te players in every position. I think sales would have been fine without being linked to Skrtel who arguably isn’t even a marquee name. Traynor would have surely come up with something more exciting than a centre back?... [emoji4]
You are partially correct. Huge crowds in the lower leagues partly because of the shock of their death. However, if the oldco is anything to go by, a few more seasons of not challenging and crowds with diminish. There is a siege mentality still in place but that won’t last as revenues decrease. Your biggest problems are that Celtic are a bigger and much richer club. Secondly, Dave King. He is owed millions in soft loans and will never leave until he gets that back. Can only see many, many more years of banter0 -
The Daily Rangers and the other rags telling porkies? Surely not. Skrtel is on huge wages in Turkey. Was never going to Greyskull. Do they not understand the realities of modern football? This is 2018. Wages of even average players in top leagues are more than Rangers annual budget. The glory days of the dead club signing International superstars are over for good. Wakey wakey.

Rangers target Jason Cummings has no chance of making an impact at Nottingham Forest says boss Aitor Karanka
He said: “It has been a shame, because they have not really played.
“The young players like Walker, Clough and Cummings were on loan to play, to check them and what they could offer.
“We wanted them to report back for pre-season and show us the progress they had made.
“But they did not play regularly, so we need to think about them.
“They are young, they are talented. But they need to play.
“If they were unable to play at Rangers or at Bolton, imagine how difficult it is going to be for them to play here.”
I feel a statement pending! Biggest club in the world, most successful, biggest fan base in the universe etc. Cummings not good enough for the bears. Who are these people!0 -
It’s not just our old firm loving halfwits. I watched the playoff match won by Exeter on Sky the other night and the commentator roared “Exeter have reached the final and will play at the greatest football stadium on the planet” ffs

Worryingly, there is no outstanding candidate out there. Maybe we will take a punt on someone from down south?

Not Hopkin please. I couldn’t stand watching rugby in Paisley. Anyone but him

I was bored, sitting in the car waiting for her indoors to finish her shift. My god, Livingston fans are easier to wind up than Morton’s! Too easy
