Bit of a storm in a tea cup, although on the face of it, a strange action from Carroll.
Never felt the before match handshake was necessary to be honest, however I cant See why he wouldn't in this particular match unless it was some type of mind game thing.

How it Ends(Netflix)
Forest Whitaker and a guy from the inbetweeners movie(the one shagging Carly) go on a road trip to save the daughter of FW after some disaster ...ah don't bother it's shite 2/10.
Kingsman 2(sky)
Had read bad reviews so wasn't expecting much but thought it was ok ,not as good as the first but certainly watchable, I thought Julianne Moore looked a bit uncomfortable and the Elton John stuff was shite . 5.5/10

Love the MI series and thought this looked great but it was way better than I could have thought. Really enjoyed it.im surprised at the amount of love for the new Mission Impossible film. i havent enjoyed one since the second one so was going to give this one a swerve. reckon ill have to give it a go now
The only MI film I wasn't fussed on was 3... I'd say the rest have been pretty consistently good.

Still looks good and my favourite Peter Weir film. Jim Carrey is really good and this is arguably his best performance.
8.5/10Have you watched The Majestic? He's very good in that as well. A serious role. I think he gets a bit of stick for only being a comedy actor but any 'serious' film I've seen him in he's been convincing. Eternal Sunshine being another.
I think Jim Carrey was looked upon as another Tom Hanks as moving from comedy to"serious" but some of the films he was in were at best average....Number 23 sticks in my mind as fairly honking.

Id say this will be in the same style as a transformer movie, may be watchable but not expecting anything great.

Watched Hannibal the other day.
It was ok but not on the same level as Silence of the Lambs. Brain eating scene at the end particularly gruesome. They really went for the shock and gore element in the sequel, but in fairness they were never going to recreate the atmosphere and the drama of the first.

Justice League(sky)
Nowhere near as bad as people have made out,yes the villan is poor and the ending is shite but overall the action is good albeit doesn't flow as well as Marvel ,Affleck is a decent batman and hopefully the others will develop, reasonable hopes for the Aquaman film. 6/10

Good to see Coleraine look like they're going to challenge again.

Bladerunner 2049(sky)
Had big expectations for it but I think it was aimed very much at sci fi fans as opposed to a more general audience, quite slow paced ,visually stunning and an excellent score but as much as I enjoyed it ,wouldn't rave about it.6/10

For what it's worth, I enjoy watching Liverpool under Klopp so hope they do well. Entertaining teams will always have my backing.
Always considered them to be a hugely unlikable club but agree with this sentiment, wouldn't begrudge them it at all.

Not only that, but they've added Howard the Duck. The true powerhouse of Marvel movies.
Thought it was poor he was overlooked for the Avengers movies in all honesty.

Surviving Escobar is a decent watch, not as good as Narcos or El Chapo but pretty good, some cracking looking senoritas in it....only thing is it's 60 episodes long ffs so a few breaks between episodes is advisable.

I'd say the Crues again this year, Linfield just behind although funny feeling Healy will be binned before the end of season, Cliftonville, Glenavon and Coleraine the chasing bunch .
Glentoran will most likely be pushing for top 6 again, oh those title winning days seem like a lifetime away.

Thor Ragnarok (SKY)
Great movie,Marvel get it right again, pretty much a comedy even more than an action flick. 8/10

The Boss (Netflix)
Melissa McCarthy as ballsy business woman ... quite pish 3/10

The 10 part documentary on Vietnam which was on terrestrial last year is being shown on Netflix now, I'm watching it again, pretty much the best war doc. I've ever seen.

Wind River (Netflix)
A Fargo type movie in setting and to an extent tone. Jeremy Renner is excellent, it hasn't a particularly quick pace but still keeps you engaged. Good film 8/10

Must have been bad for a 3 month ban. Seems to revolve around selection which seems strange.
