Fits in perfectly really.
I'm happy for you. No, really, I am.

So here you are. A rhetorical question for you. Was I ever envious of what I knew was happening at Almondvale? Not for one second. Not even a flicker.
Woops! Touched a raw nerve there methinks.
Well, if it's all the same to you, I'll keep trying to do my bit to save my club, and you can keep telling the world all about the glories of karma. Most open-minded supporters (and there are plenty here) recognise a club's right to exists, but if 3 successive bent chairmen - over whom the supporters had no control - mean we've to be condemned, then pop your black cap on and keep up the tub-thumping.

Right perception or not, Livingston FC have always been seen to be the initiators of the wrongdoing, and both supported and egged on by the mouthier elements of your support. Hence the lack of sympathy and concern in the broader informed footballing community.
We all indulge in revisionist history, but in Livingston's case, the wrongs are still fresh in the mind, and legion in number.
Your club has wronged too many people too many times.
I would directly challenge this by stating there are far mouthier element in other supports saying a lot worse things, only difference being they lack the meteoric rise to success Livi enjoyed, albeit at a hefty price now. It was a real scunner to see these new upstarts lifting trophies after a few years when their own clubs cabinets were filled with little more than dust and memories.
Envy breeds bitterness, and bitterness lasts a very long time.
Still, I've been heartened by messages of support received from across the tribal lines. And if Falkirk ever faced the same fate I'd be willing the Bairns on all the way. I'm not a big fan of the taste of bitterness you see, and I respect the passion each fan has for his or her team of choice.

For those that care, yes. But unfortunately there does not seem to be enough of them, as attendances at Almondvale over the years has shown.
Stirling Albion's figures are even lower but everyone's behind them (including me). Numbers don't come into the equation here: my club is being shafted hugely by a serial liar and that's all that should count. FOOTBALL fans will understand this.

PS. It's back now...

For the record, I've no idea why LiviLions is down. I can't even access the admin control panel
It'll be those snakes and enemies of the club again. Probably.

CDE's finest hour, and the site doesn't have enough capacity! Thing is, a train wreck of any proportion always draws the crowds.
You're too kind

History probably won't bother it's arse.
Can you feel the love?

Can I just say a quick "thank you" to everyone for such enthusiastic use of the LiviLions forum. Having it quoted in the press AND P&B is surely the ultimate accolade.
Fame or infamy? You decide...

If the present owner has proved himself to be incapable of running the club, then why perpetuate his ownership?
...Anyway, good luck to Livi for the future.
In Utopia, there are no club chairmen

But the tactics of the "Trust" could also see the demise of the club. They are gambling with the future rather than working with the present owner to try and keep us afloat.
They had a meeting with him yesterday as far as I'm aware.

We have no manager or coaches in place for next season having sacked one set & suspened another & yet he wants fans to part with hard earned ££££££'s - he does live in a dream world
Can't find fault in any of that. I've done my best to give the guy a chance, but each time he's pissed on my shoes. I've no confidence in him whatsoever, but there's little point in singing this from the rooftops just now. I know he'll be found out eventually, but I'm just concerned he'll take the club down with him

Don't worry I am sure Massone will cause his own downfall without the need of the football beaks
That is entirely possible.

I don't think he has a door in Rome. The club were concerned for his welfare due to lack of communication so sent someone to his house. They spoke to his mum and she assured them he was ok but couldn't carry on due to the threats.
You being serious???

Here's a wee game for you all to play:
Think of the most unlikely, ridiculous, farcical and downright outrageous thing that could possibly hppen at Almondvale, then watch and see how close you came to getting it spot-on over the next few days. Have a go! Nothing is too OTT.

He's a bit short this month with buying the stadium and all.
Love it

Rome is ablaze, but the sound of our Emperor's fiddle calms me...

Hey, I need a job, wonder if there are any going at Livi.
So long as you don't expect to get paid, either on time or at all B)

Chairmen are a necessary evil, but in an ideal world (as I said) there would be none.
And the mutiny? What be your suggestion Mr Christian?

Ah, I smell insider knowledge here. A passing interest in Kelty Hearts?
Not quite sure who "Flynn's Gang" were though? Most folk backed him as he was the best thing available at the time, before he really began getting silly of course. I'd class myself in that group, despite never fully trusting the man, though it was anything but a "gang". And sure, pulling that link off the Official site was petty, but there was no threat of legal action, and the players still attended the POTY awards.
Mr Massone's conduct of late has been playground standard, though using that metaphor Flynn would be the school bully and Massone his eager sidekick, with Flynn getting him to do his dirty work and encouraging him to tell teacher the moment it backfires.
In an ideal world there would be no football chairmen.

Flynn was an crook, but at least he gave as good as he got most times.
Massone on the other hand spits the dummy way too easily: like the kid at school who'd wind you up all playtime then march off, arm raised, howling to the teacher the moment you lamped him one back. Besides, one man's character assassination is another's character assessment.

My guess is that someone is making a lot of it up. Has any one actually spoken to Massone to confirm if it is him that posts under that username?
Yes, and it's him alright. However we can't verify the emails came from him, though it's fairly certain they did.

And now Angelo Massone has allegedly threatened to sue the LiviLions message board for editing one of his postings where he'd insulted another board user, and who duly complained to the site admin about it.
You couldn't make this stuff up, I tell you...

Yeah, take that MCL! Mr Poopy Pants!
