Double Winning St Johnstone FC Thread
FrankChickens1 replied to Kyle's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
Hope we're set to make a mint if we end up hosting. Horrible thought having those nasty rat fans in our stadium one more time than plan. And the opponents not much better. -

Yesterday I found myself questioning a few times how he attracted transfer fees in his past. If he was out of his prime position that might partially explain some of it. -

That goal was so delightfully rubbish. Get Max off - applicable at any stage of the second half of any game -

Levein's going to be furious. Simple through ball and our chances of 0-0 gone in an instant. -

That looked like a deliberate elbow from the first briefly shown replay. -

Really want Dare to come good but he looks like he's never played RB before, more so when they have the ball Fair to say first touch isn't Sidibeh's primary attribute -

This formation maybe could work... If we could add a second striker.... Without losing a player somewhere else. Bit pointless atm with too much being asked of Kimpioka, as is familiar for Saints' sole striekrs -

Any prospect of Adama Sidibeh in the squad today? He obviously won't be as good as Clegg says he is but... Imagine if he was -

An interview with Sidibeh's manager about the interest in him contains the words "and has there been a better right back than Clive Smith this year" Delitit that Clive's doing well but probably necessitates some caution as to the level -

Sometimes I worry Scottish football isn't very good. We've been absolutely gubbed 1-1 by a team playing terribly... -

Still absolutely clutching but arguably offside but not interfering is not inconsistent with 'onside' until you touch it / interfere. I didn't see VAR presentation though so -

Looks pretty clear especially given they love ruling stuff out. Best I can do is that from the angle behind the goals it looks a bit like Kelly has rushed past Considine* without being "interfered" with by him. Would have missed the ball without anyone there Clutching a bit but best I can do. Incompetence more likely -

Well he's not a striker. Just a midfielder plonked up front -

With Deeney at Forest Green might see Dan go there. Can't complain if we get a development fee. Pure conjecture obviously -

Much as I think most of the IDF should be jailed en masse, it is mandatory service. Is there worse? -

Seems to have once transferred for 1.5m and once broken Diego Costa. Nothing objectionable on his socials. I'll take that. -

One of the slowest professional footballers I've ever seen. And we have/had Considine and Booth. -

Think Adams kind of cursed Costelloe before he even arrived with those comments, he was going to have to be great to win fans over and certainly didn't manage. Surely Newcastle are going to take Turner-Cooke back as he's not playing? He'd learn more in PL2 than on our bench. I thought in his appearances so far he's shown the kind of technical ability you'd expect from a PL product although obviously didn't do much productive with it. Successive managers will also be seeing in training there's something missing. Very happy with Smith (based on not much actual detailed knowledge of him). -

Based on how a game of footy manager worked years ago if Norwich offered him a deal we'd have had to pay. Not sure if that's still the rules but probably not. Also very unlikely to be that (at least. On that. Basis) as you'd have thought if they did he'd have taken it.
