  1. The red card was always going to be given as a red card but its one of those ones where VAR isn't really looking at what's happened.

The still image make it look like Costello's lunged forwards into Kennedys knee which would be far beyond a red, when in reality it was a sideways motions with a small nick. Still a red but nothing like the legbreaker the still image portrays.

Then you have Kennedy who is totally fine and its already looking at the referee while in mid-air, then waits a second or two before remembering to start hamming it up. Obviously tonnes of players do that, and its still a red, but quite funny to see.

Would love if Kane can stay fit for a few weeks, we've missed him hugely this season.

I don't think that is correct. I mean it might make Livi change their mind but legally that wouldn't wash as an automatic right.

I'm not entirely sure what Livi fans mean when they say he is 'working without a contract'. Unless he is volunteering then he has a contract of employment.

Yes but you can have a verbal or ad hoc contract perfectly legally.

More likely they mean he's on a rolling continuation of a previous expired contract, terminable by either party.

His temperament becoming a major issue.

Already frozen out a couple of players, who hes now likely having to rely on to come in and help, with likely another couple joining that list.

Yeah I'm not a fan of these comments.

Its obvious half our team shouldn't be playing for the club or at this level. Hardly good managment to be pointing it out in late October when they're part of your squad and you've picked them to play. Not rocket science.

But we don't really have the squad to be jettisoning paid players just to, as you say, call them back like McGowan.

PMaclean picked that team today. Could have gone with Olufanwa against one of the leagues more average teams yet goes with the 'known quantity' of Sunday league workhorse Brown.

Or if Clark was one of the targets of the comments, who was the Manager that put him straight into the team after a year out to the humiliation of the three other strikers on the bench.

My only reasons for not wanting him sacked now are the fact we won't find anyone else. Nothing positive about him.

I think by the end of the season our 'goals For' column could be lower than the current record lowest 'Points' tally.

    VAR showed he was offside.

Referee has to decide whether interfering or not as he didn't touch it?

Easy no? As in - it's pretty easy to guess that is what happened and what the review was for?

Saints TV commentators have no idea

Obviously fair chance it'll get explain later and be something different

Still not sure why the referee needed to watch it to work that out either as he definitely was.

Were the Aberdeen fan's booing the referee at half time? Odd if so.

Because unlike onside and offside lines there is a subjective decision to be made even where in this case it's pretty obvious.

To be fair, it's hard to say that he genuinely forced Considine to bullet it into his own net. Even if he was clearly 'interfering'

    Sorry, what?

It would 100% alienate even more fans. The East Stand was incredibly empty a few weeks ago against Rangers.

Giving the East Stand to the Old Firm again regardless of revenue would be quiet the incredible own goal.

Plus unless this Craig lad is suggesting that the Dundee United fans at Raith will sing sectarian songs all game, trash half the seats and try to fight families in the car park, I'm not sure there's much relevant to the comparison.

  7. The red was a definite red.

However, I was getting angry watching the var angles on the feed because they kept pausing it on a still image of the reverse angle where it looked like Gordon stamped on his leg in a way that would break it, whereas the video from the front looked like there was no contact.

It wasn't until about the third or fourth viewing that I spotted the contact. It was there, it was too high, and it's a red.

But the ref spent about twenty seconds looking at totally deceptive still images first which weren't really relevant to the actual contact, so if it had proven to have been a mistake based on that I'd have been furious. (but then it wasn't a mistake, albeit possibly still based on the nonsense angle.)
